These dudes are checked out. I remember some folks were willing to look past the quarter-assed way they were thrown together, assuming they would end up being a decent team. I was a bit optimistic that they'd find their footing eventually.
Nah. They're depressing to watch and might as well be called two guys, a girl and apathetic booking. They look like two guys in the waiting room at the proctologist's office. Dying alive, in the words of the immortal Jaromir Jagr.
Rusev has truly taken over the Dolph role of getting his legs cut out from under him over and over and over.

Nakamura is the equivalent of an all star veteran player who get's that big long term contract, then kinda whateva's it on their new team. Can't really blame him cause he would probably be where he is right now if he was "grabbing for that brass ring" like every other foreign wrestler.

Nakamura got to do his bucket list things in WWE, I don't think he cares about getting pushed. Now he's more interested in surfing.

I honestly don't blame Nak. He's getting that WWE money, to work a style that's easier on his body after years of going hard in Japan, and he gets to go surfing.

Yeah, Nakamura as a singles guy disappointed me from the beginning, but he still has his own brand of charisma and a presence to him. I've wanted him in a tag team for a while, and I thought this pairing had a chance to be similar to what The Bar were, despite the awful start. I'm a bit surprised at how "two random guys" they come off as.

Nakamura is fine. He is having the time of his life and might be winding down.
Rusev is young and wasting his prime, and looks dead in the eyes right now.

Nakamura is wasted and why he’s wrestling in that horrid jumpsuit is beyond me.
Turn him face again. Or team him up with Orton.
I couldn’t care less about Rusev to be honest.

Nakamura's match with Kofi was actually one of Nak's best singles matches on the main roster IMO. At one time I thought Rusev was just working us jabroni smarks when he'd put out those tweets about unhappy he is, but the guy really does seem miserable (especially after they split up Rusev Day for no good reason) and I think he's going to leave the first chance he gets.

I'm still floored by the fact that the "Rusev Day" schtick was split up. I don't really watch weekly WWE TV, but I just remember whatever PPV it was, probably the Rumble, where English was singing Rusev down to the ring and the crowd was going apeshit. Then I check in on here and at a results page on another site and see they broke them up, keep track, and see that it lead to absolutely nothing. Grab dat brass ring, m i rite?

Yeah, I know he's said he likes playing a heel, but he looked like he was genuinely having the time of his life playing a babyface while Rusev Day was together. Then they took it all away for whatever reason.

It was probably as hot as Kofi pre-Mania and Becky Lynch when she started up the Man stuff, and they didn't even get a tag title reign. The ending of the act was absolutely depressing.

The thought for a lot of people here was that maybe it'd lead to a Rusev singles push. lol nope, he got that pointless US title reign and that was it.

Rusev legit looks like he is constantly having to mumble, "Paycheck," under his breath to avoid just storming off mid-show. He seems to be absolutely miserable.

The problem was wwe views Aiden as a geek so the push wasn’t gonna go too far and then when they broke them up you got Rusev feuding with a geek and that cooled him off and he’s never recovered couple that with the fact that wwe never planned on pushing them so the second it lost steam they killed it.I remember when Rusev got his random ppv wwe title shot against AJ there was a SDL where Rusev and Aiden did a beatdown of AJ and Nakamura and Aiden looked terrible his strikes were pathetic and it made AJ & Nak look pathetic selling them a few weeks later Rusev Day was broken up and Aiden was gone from TV.

I think Nak is toast. But I still hold a candle for Rusev. I don’t see any reason why he couldn’t be an upper mid-carder.

I'm pretty sure Rusev is just working until his contract is up and then plans to leave.
He sounded utterly defeated by the WWE's booking of him, when interviewed on Lilian Garcia's podcast. And pissed off on Lana's behalf over them being dropped from Total Divas. He and Lana said they were exploring other avenues to market their personal brand.
He's a guy that the WWE should have pushed to the top, years ago. He's got everything a top star needs to have.
Nakamura? This is a retirement cruise for him, he doesn't give a shit. Which is fine, but it does make it even more galling that Rusev is paired with a guy who doesn't care.
