There is nothing fun about watching a ref watch a replay, especially if it just takes away goals, runs, touchdowns, or baskets.
I think there is a need in SOME cases, but we have gone WAY too far with it. I also think basic technology can probably solve most of these issues (goal line, 3 pointers, etc).

Tennis has used Hawk-Eye since like 2005 or 2006. It would be very easy to use for like home runs or things like that. Even goals in hockey that aren't covered in the goal by the goalie. It takes like 10 seconds and the crowd gets hyped for it because they know it's gonna be definitive and over immediately. Versus football and basketball reviews that take 15x longer than the play itself.

The crowd and us at home be knowing the decision before the refs do
It is inexcusable how much time they waste with this shit

Especially in MLB. It always takes more than half a damn inning.

Funny how you posted this yesterday. As today, the winner of THE Kentucky Derby was decided on a video review.

I don't see how you can change the result of the KENTUCKY DERBY based on a minor infraction that had no bearing on the outcome.

Now does 99% of the the people who watch the derby care about a minor violation or are they there to be entertained by an exciting ending?
Who are these people that are entertained by mild technicalities?
