I think it's probably easier to come up with a list who won't do the Saudi shows rather then those that would be willing to Sami Zayn definitely won't, no matter how much money is on offer. But that's partly because it doesn't suit Saudi Arabia's foreign policy to tolerate people of Syrian descent. I'm sure Daniel Bryan won't be there either. Or Cena. And obviously, the women won't be going, but that's through no choice of their own. Still, even if they were allowed to perform, I'd hope they'd say 'sure, if women are allowed to come and watch.' The Rock would be another one, firstly he knows it wouldn't be a good look for him in Hollywood

Legends-wise, I think Rocky and Austin are the only two that wouldn't go and Austin I think would balk at the travel more than the money.

You mean to tell me that some wrestlers care more about making money than making a political statement? I'm shocked.

No shit. For 2 million I'd do a belly flop off the top of the cage onto Micheal Cole. Hell, I’d do that for 10 bucks and a bottle of wine...

Disappointing, but not surprising, sadly.

How much is the right price for the rest of your mobility though? It's great to provide for your family, but they probably want dad as healthy as possible too.

How much is the right price for the rest of your mobility though? It's great to provide for your family, but they probably want dad as healthy as possible too. Foley’s family: nah we’d rather have the money. Sad, but true. Foley himself has admitted (somewhat) that he'll always be a money mark and will sell himself out if the price is right due to the fact that what made him famous put him in a spot where he felt obligated to milk as much out of the industry as possible out of necessity, which has caused people to question the value of when he returned to action for years after he officially retired in 2000. It was cool seeing him wrestle in 2004 against Randy Orton. It was (mostly) cool to see him wrestle against Edge in 2006, but then he decided to stick around way too long and had a feud with Ric Flair in which he was the only "legend" that Ric Flair dominated in a feud, since it was usually the other way around where the legend made Ric Flair their bitch, which while serviceable and built around real-life animosity due to Foley's anecdotal stories about when Flair was head booker in WCW in "Have a Nice Day!" which had Ric retort with the famous "glorified stuntman" quip in his autobiography, wasn't necessary for both men and just served as time filler since the story of the summer was about DX reuniting and, to a lesser extent, John Cena vs. Edge. The stuff he did in 2007 is, well, forgettable, and then we got his TNA run, where it was them letting him do everything he wanted without restriction... we got 2 1/2 years of Foley wrestling and bumping regularly to show us how that worked out.

Can't say I'm surprised, but I am mildly disappointed given views Mick used to openly express politically. But we've known for a long time that that ONS II lead-in promo Heyman cut on him that genuinely hurt Mick's feelings was the truth. Dude would do anything if the price is right. I've never actually seen ONS 2, what did Heyman say?

I respect the honesty and am unsurprised.
These are big money deals.

The bigger stress point here isn't the idea that Foley would take the money, but the vibe that Foley would be totally okay with dying in the ring. The man can't do anything without assistance anymore how in the blue hell is he wrestling?

Oh god please no Taker/Mankind cell rematch. They should recreate the falling spot, but this time use a very obvious dummy "As god as my witness he's been broken in half!"

It's a shame. Foley seems like such a good guy, all the charity work and social justice support he does, but I guess enough money will turn any man into a scumbag.

It’s funny. Back in 05-06, Foley got mad because Heyman called him a prostitute in a creative meeting. Guess Heyman wasn’t that far off. Well at least Foley admits it.

Mick wants to use his body to make money so his kids and family has money down the line. The problem is that he wants to risk killing himself to do it.
