Nah. Vince is finished. The only way this improves is when he leaves and takes his team with him.

It's gonna get a lot worse before it gets any better. The way I see the next few years playing out are SmackDown getting cancelled, them only having one weekly show, cutting back a LOT on touring and amount of people on the roster and other staff, and Vince finally stepping away. Like all honestly probably in the next 2-3 years. HHH will basically be able to run the main roster the way he does NXT but overall the company won't be anywhere near as profitable or big as it is now. They won't die but I think the WWE of 5 years from now won't look anything like it does now.

They have plenty of time to turn it around. But they are going in the wrong direction, it's getting worse and their ideas are borderline insulting to the fans.

*next week*
"WWE keeps putting black tarps on the sections of the arena where there's no audience. Can they turn this around, or now that WWE's been blacked, is there no going back?"

I think most people watch it in their home and not in the back seat of a volkswagen.

Given what we've seen during the last few weeks and the ongoing issues with WWE, is it accurate to say that WWE at this point cannot put a foot right? That no matter what they do, they're not going to get praise for it, and there will always be a negative spin to take on it? Or, do you feel that WWE can redeem itself as a company and as a product? And if so, what would need to happen to get them back into our good graces? Are the two options really "WWE has good parts but people just wont give it a chance and are too negative" and "WWE can get better and we can be happy?". My third option is "Its run by a 72 year old megalomaniac who is more interested in Rupert Murdoch and Saudi Arabia money then the marks who watch TV every week."

Think about that....there's a possible world in which WWE doesn't have TV network oversight to worry about. Terrifying...

You can always improve your situation. The fact their panic solution to the awful ratings was Vince making a tag match with Corbin and Lashley kinda showed they won't be improving things any time soon though.
PS. Thanks for making a bunch of sex jokes to make me google what "pegged" meant ya bunch of perverts!

If WWE ever has to move exclusively to the Network, they're dead. The TV rights are their primary sources of income, the Network doesn't really turn all that much of a profit and has long since stopped seeing any sort of growth, it'd completely kill the ability to attract new fans because nobody's paying money to watch the weekly show unless they're already a fan of it, and they'd have to start pumping WAY more money into advertising because they'd no longer have the ability to freely do so on TV.

It’s not unsalvageable, but my worry is the longer they keep going down the road they’re on, the longer and longer it will take to get that goodwill back. I mean, we just had one of the most “happy ending” WrestleManias of all time where by some stroke of luck the three major babyfaces everyone was hoping would win all won... Not even 24 hours later, many of that same crowd were booing the main event match featuring two of those babyfaces out of the building because the wrong people did the run-in. That shows me just how far back WWE have gotten already with this loss of goodwill. They’re probably gonna need six months to a year of “perfect” booking to start making progress, and I’m not sure that’s possible under the current structure of the company.

The problem is WWE could be fantastic right now but it doesn’t matter. It would be like 2 last place NFL teams having an awesome game in December, no matter how good the game is it doesn’t f***ing matter. They give us no reason to care or tune in
Daniel Bryan vs Johnny Gargano could have 6 star matches every week, but WWE has trained us that nothing matters so why care? If Kofi won at Mania, or lost at Mania he probably cuts the same “Happy to entertain you” promo with a few words changed on SDL.
Nothing that happens ever f***ing matters so why should I care and why should I tune in? It’s like watching Infinity War, and then Endgame starts and everybody is alive and well. Why the f*** should I care about IW if none of it matters at the start of Endgame?
