I just hope they have jiggle physics right for Velma's boobs. Seriously, has anybody seen her on Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? She's sporting a set that would make Power Girl jealous.

Wonder what kind of aesthetic they're going to go for Fred, Daphne, and Velma. They're the three characters that seem to get a lot of different looks while Shaggy and Scooby are pretty static since "dog with collar" and "guy in t-shirt and pants" aren't really specific to any one time period.

I'm amazed that kids today care about the Scooby characters. The whole concept seems so dated and rooted in the 70's. It's the weirdest thing. I run the DVD section at my job and am still amazed how well they sell. I see anywhere between 2 and 10 Scooby DVDs come in a week, but the floor shelf never has more than 10-15 at any given time. I never have to clearance them - and I have to clearance actual Disney and Pixar movies. Any era Scooby sells, classic, modern, the weird 80s stuff.

Genuinely curious, any idea how much is sold to kids and how much to older fans who remember the show from back in the day?

The characters look like dolls... which was probably the intention so they can make dolls that look like the character models.

Why does Fred look like Ken from Toy Story?

Damnit, Retro, I wanted to do that!
So the two key things I got from it is that it looks lovely, just super adorable. The other being, for the cynicism of changing the voice actors (completely understandable), I'm glad they didn't replace Welker as Scooby. He just feels right. Forte's Shaggy is not bad at all, actually. Wouldn't have known it was him if I didn't know already.
I'd like to see more...very leery of Wahlberg as Blue Falcon but we'll see...

Darn it, the bit where Shaggy jumps into Daphne's arms...dare this movie give me hope WB are finally listening?
Also lol'ed at Daphne implying her father is a heavy drinker

Watching that trailer, I was disappointed that the superheroes Scooby and Shaggy were dressed as for Halloween weren’t Commander Cool and Mellow Mutt.

How long has Scooby been talking in complete sentences? A long while, I think. At the very least, he was talking in full sentences in Cartoon Network promos in 2000.
