How long has Scooby been talking in complete sentences? A long while, I think. At the very least, he was talking in full sentences in Cartoon Network promos in 2000. Yeah, a bit of Google-fu tells me they started experimenting with full sentences around then, and pretty much made it the default in 2010. I don't like it, no sir. Can't say I'm crazy about Will Forte as Shaggy either, but overall the trailer isn't bad.

The voices are going to take some getting used to.

Just watched it. Cute enough. Shaggy now sounds like, whoever the southern Shaggy expy on Speed Buggy was. But hey, the Will Forte fans will pay money to see it. Same with whoever's doing Fred, et al. instead of their proper VAs.
Love young S&S looking like the Pup Named... version.
Seems ok if you consider it an animated version of the live action characters.
I gotta finish Mystery Incorporated.

The animation is beautiful.
Here's hoping it follows The Peanuts Movie, and not something like Rocky and Bullwinkle.

......I have a feeling Welker was asked to get rid of a lot of the redundant R's that Scooby speaks with. There was NONE of that in this trailer and it certainly made his performance seem a lot different. Sounds a lot like it takes some influence from the Mystery Incorporated series. That's not a bad thing.

Yeah, I loved Incorporated. If the leaks are true, I just wonder how kids are going to take it, but hey if they were fine with all the lovecrafitian horror in Incorporated there's a good chance this won't phase 'em.

Tony Cervone is a good cartoon director who’s done fun things for WB Animation for years now, at least since Looney Tunes Show, so I have faith in it being good.

Whoever thought of getting Tom Jones on board for this show deserves a lot of credit.

Misread that as Scooby in canon is supposed to be immortal.

Misread that as Scooby in canon is supposed to be immortal. It would explain his dietary habits...

Final trailer, which wisely reveals only a tinier percentage of the film.
I can't help but notice some subtle Shaphne in the trailer...judging from how hard she's taking the kidnapping and the look she gives Shaggy in the flashback

Credits end with "And Frank Welker."
As an animation dork, that's incredibly good to see.
