I know everyone is shitting on it but I get they are giving everyone on the mid card with nothing to do, something to do. So it probably will be fun for a while like the Hardcore Title was, but it will also get old as well eventually.
It gives them the opportunity to do goofy segments that they love.

I'm all for the concept here. As a belt mark, I just think it looks dumb as f***.

Just saying that is one ugly looking belt.

The belt looks like absolute shit, and this is an old idea, but it's at least SOMETHING, and they rehash the same damn ideas so damn often at least this is an idea they haven't actually driven into the ground already for two decades.
It has so many applications, it can be fun on their social media channels, go to any brand, can be used for single comedy segments and transitions or actually have lengthy matches and focus.
Honestly, I am all for it, and don't feel like it adds to the title surplus because it is so clearly worthless. If this gets people like Primo on TV then why not?

I like it.
I enjoyed the 24/7 Hardcore title rule back in the day so I welcome this.
Plus if it gives guys that don't do much something to do..I'm all for it.

The biggest issue I have with this title is I see the novelty wearing off very quickly. Raw stuff was fun but after about, oh, three shows of it or so I see it just being useless filler, assuming they even bother to have it on TV at all.

That's how I remember the 24/7 rule back in the day. It was a really fun concept for a few months, but Wrestlemania 16's Hardcore Battle Royal should have been the end of the whole thing, but it wasn't, and it got really stale.

My memory of the Hardcore title was it was fun and they should have kept it. Ditto the European title.
Braun's going to Undertaker this before too long.

might have been said, my only fear is with the recent events of people thinking they can attack Bret and Arnie
We get some idiot attacking the wrestler, and justifying it in their mind that it's the rule that goes along with the title

How long before they go full Ironman Heavymetal weight championship with this and start having objects win the belt?

That's how I remember the 24/7 rule back in the day. It was a really fun concept for a few months, but Wrestlemania 16's Hardcore Battle Royal should have been the end of the whole thing, but it wasn't, and it got really stale. The run of the original Hardcore belt was scattered with rollercoaster runs that kept the belt fresh after periods of staleness. The initial run of the belt in late 1998-mid 1999 with Hardcore Holly, Al Snow and Big Boss Man holding court petered out eventually, but got freshened up by Crash Holly and the largely comedic 24/7 run. That got stale, but then you had Steve Blackman’s take on it that rendered 24/7 null and void because he was so capable with self-defense, which got it some prominence again. That got old too, but then by that point you had ECW guys like Rob Van Dam and Rhyno coming in and that bought some time through the Invasion, where afterwards The Undertaker got a notable run to establish his new heel character. Once it got out of his orbit, though, that was pretty much it until it was unified with the IC belt. But you got four solid years out of it. I hope we can get some fun stuff with the 24/7 belt with today’s cast of wrestlers, nearly all of whom desperately deserve a spotlight of some kind to showcase themselves as characters, but my early concern is WWE will end up speeding through all those phases in a much quicker time.

At first I was like, "Kofi wants it?!" But it turned out to be Cedric Alexander.
So...is this going to be batshit crazy the entire time, or will there actually be like one on one matches?
And will the "real" matches be under hardcore rules, or is it just a falls count anywhere title? What's stopping the entire roster from just jumping the champ in his one on one match?
Can the women get involved too? Like the times a wrestler was napping, and they would sneak in, cover him, and make the ref do a quiet count.
I like the idea, but I got tired of the 24/7 stuff with the Hardcore title. Guys having thirty title reigns in two weeks is ridiculous. I liked the crazy brutal matches Snow, Holly, and Bossman had.

I know the belt looks like shit but, like, I'm okay with it looking like shit? This is a belt that could literally be defended in someone's backyard. I have no interest in it looking like a prestigious championship.
I'm not sure what the shelf life for something like this will be, but I think there's so much potential for fun while it lasts.

I kind of wonder how long it'll be before this is someone's first title win. Everyone who's had it thus far has already had a different belt.

It does give them a lot of material to work with really.
- Matches themselves for the title - Backstage segments turning into matches - Comedy skits - Incorporating non wrestlers like interviewers, managers and maybe even celebrities - Using Social Media to promote it - Having it on all brands - I can even see them filming matches on such shows as the Edge & Christian show on The Network - Bringing old school wrestlers back for one off matches
The goofiness of it is quite ironic with AEW wanting to come off as a legit sport rather than sports entertainment.

If this gets Steve Blackman back on tv with that dope theme, Titantron video, and bicycle kicking dudes and wailing on them with those sticks while they have a trashcan over them...then I'll allow it.

On RAW there’s EC3, Fandango, Metalik, Dorado, Rawley, Jose and Breeze. SmackDown has Ali, Crews, Elias, Sullivan, Otis and Tucker. Adding the women gives you Brooke, Evans, Cross, Riott, Logan, Tamina, Lana, Morgan, Rose, Deville and Vega.

Might lead to some mildly entertaining comedy skits but that belt is disgusting.
