Flacco to the IR ending his season and probably stay with the Broncos. Apparently there are big questions around ours second round pick Drew Lock as well. Elway has said that the staff told him Lock isn’t ready while the offensive side of the staff has said he’s ready.
Looks to be a down time for Broncos’ fans until the ownership situation is straightened out.

I hope whichever of the Bowlen kids gets control drops him soon after. Even then the toxicity of the whole thing might drive players away.

Damn His good will off the championships has been worn off but if he has a stake in what's going on, it's going be hard to get rid of him at least out of the GM role until someone steps up

Damn His good will off the championships has been worn off but if he has a stake in what's going on, it's going be hard to get rid of him at least out of the GM role until someone steps up His best moves were picking up Peyton Manning and drafting and holding onto Von Miller. He's living off that now. 2 Super Bowl visits with one win is good, but I think he's been given a sufficient enough time to rebuild and they look like theyre a couple years away from being able to do anything.

Snipe Chad Kelly off of the Colts’ practice squad despite cutting him last year?

I’m not sure Elway is sold on Lock and is hoping to see if one of the Undrafted kids can show something, maybe even tank if he thinks he can get away with it.

They need to make QB a very high priority in the 2020 draft. Spend their top pick if a blue chip QB gets to them there, or otherwise use their highest pick possible on the highest prospect possible. Flacco was always only going to be temporary and these no-names they've got now don't seem like they'll cut any mustard. The future needs to be now (or soon, whenever the draft is) for the QB position. Not just for the sake of positive perception (because even amongst all the other bad teams this season, it seems like the Broncos have less hope for future success than other bad teams do) but also in a "you know in your heart that it's true, teams without good quarterbacks don't get very far" way. So even if QB isn't their #1 position need next offseason, they need to pretend like it is on draft day.

Goddamn Seattle claimed Josh Gordon. Fxxx. In fairness I don't know if he has enough left. He's looked sluggish since week 1. Given the Patriots' situation at receiver the fact that they cut him is saying something. Too bad. He worked hard when he was here and I hope for the best going forward.

I thought initially he might have had another “personal issue” and was upfront about it with the team and they may have put him on IR as to avoid testing. I think he can still perform, “think” but he hasn’t had a big season on half a decade through suspensions.

Why would anyone wanna sign that dumpster fire after this year? "He can't possibly f*** this opportunity up right?" Pretty much every team thinking until they realize it is not worth it
