I think as MLW became more focused with their roster the show became better. Plus Bein loves them. Could absolutely see them growing more. Now the question is has MLW surpassed ROH in the US pecking order? I see more positive talk about MLW than ROH the past few months. Might just be cause ROH doesn't air on any channels people in my area get,but I see more people talking about watching MLW fusion than I see talking about ROH's weekly show. Add in that in the last year I have introduced 4 people to both ROH and MLW. Out of those 4 all of them are still watching MLW each week. But only one of them still watches the weekly ROH show. For me MLW is the best weekly wrestling TV show. I usually watch Fusion on Sunday, since I DVR it off BeIN Sports on Saturdays. ROH I end up forgetting it has aired and am usually 2 or 3 weeks behind. But I also watch ROH on the FITE App. MLW having a good bunch of luchadores on their roster is another reason I prefer MLW to ROH. Sure ROH has Rush. But MLW has La Park,Hijo Del Park,Airwolf and DR WAGNER JR!!!!!!!!!!!!

It actually feels like things of importance happen on Fusion pretty regularly. RoH TV just feels inconsequential the vast majority of the time, like nothing on it really effects storylines much at all.

Are the wrestlers being paid there? I seem to remember a story that they had pay issues, but I could be thinking of something else. That aside, MLW just nails their weekly wrestling show because it’s largely about wrestling. Even the gimmicky/campy stuff feels right in the context of a wrestling show.

Brett Lauderdale of GCW and David Starr accused them of that.... maybe someone else as well who worked for the promotion

Not sure about now,but right after MLW restarted they used the Dirty Blondes a few times. Got to know them from their short stint in SWA. According to them MLW pays on time just tht the pay is really low.

Finally watched last weeks MLW.
Hammerstone vs DBSjr was decent but a bit too short. Los Parks vs Dr Wagner Jr and son was amazing. Really fun lucha brawl.

I can't believe how well Dr Wagner Jr still moves after 30 plus years of matches

I can't believe how well Dr Wagner Jr still moves after 30 plus years of matches It's amazing rewatching Larry Z bury the luchadores on Nitro for doing such high risk moves. Most of them move better now than wrestlers who worked supposedly safer styles.

OWWWWWW Mance's head and those tacks! He came very close to getting some in his eyes. Yeah, I've seen plenty of tack spots, but they rarely go for the head, and for good reason. I'm sure the powder used in the finish getting into those cuts wasn't pleasant either.

One thing that I dig, is that during the post-match brawls with the Von Erichs, their theme still plays. Kinda adds to the carnage...

I know they've used the gimmick, but MLW's press release actually uses the term Spirit Squad, so there's a possibility WWE let the trademark lapse and Mondo or Doane might have scooped it up, just as Simon Gotch got his name back somehow.

They've been using the name since at least September 2014 when they competed in King of Trios, so WWE either hasn't owned that trademark in ages or just plain doesn't care.
