This came up a couple weeks ago in a thread about that show. To give a quick background: the last season of Family Matters aired on CBS, not ABC. The show’s ratings had been on the wane for a while, probably due in no small part to how insane it went in the last few seasons of its existence, as we have all observed here. After one unsuccessful season on CBS it was cancelled unceremoniously, but there had in point of fact been plans for a final season that would have given it a proper sendoff. Only catch being that this season would have been even more batshit insane and dark than all the other ones put together!
To start with, the season would have revolved around Steve Urkel and Laura’s wedding. Myra (who would have been portrayed by another actress as Michelle Thomas had already been diagnosed with stomach cancer and had to undergo treatment) would have gone full on in her attempts to sabotage the ceremony after serving a brief stint in jail for stalking Steve. Stefan Urquel would briefly have returned, at first taking part in Myra’s plans but ultimately having a change of heart and foiling her instead. Myra would then have fallen for one of Steve’s various cousins, who had only been featured in a single episode before, ultimately getting over her obsession and eventually departing with her new boyfriend to tour the country. Stefan would have been welcomed into the Urkel family and start to get to know his relatives, including Myrtle-before the revelation that the cloning process Steve used to make him was unstable, and in the end Stefan would die-but since this is a family show and they can’t show a realistic death, so instead Stefan would simply say his goodbyes and then vanish into nothingness as if he had been Thanos-snapped. But his “cool” essence would have been absorbed into Steve, granting him better posture and a deeper voice, a Stevefan Urkquel, if you will. But hey, all would be well as ends well because the series finale would have seen the birth of Steve and Laura’s first child-even though technically it wouldnt’ be Steve’s kid since now he would be a Steve/Stefan hybrid of sorts.
And they wonder why this show got cancelled so abruptly!

Wow. tl;dr - no other cast member of the show is mentioned here, just Urkel and Myra (and Laura but it's just once lol).

Somewhat telling that not a single member of the Winslow family was mentioned besides Laura. What happens with Carl and Harriet's marriage? Can Eddie and Waldo's friendship survive different paths? Will Judy and Rachel ever return from Limbo?
Who cares? The key thing is that the clone of Urkel gets a proper ending for himself.

That sounds absolutely terrible.
That said, the show did deserve an actual ending to it

Should have mentioned that Waldo would have been brought back, but for no more than a one-shot appearance to reunite with his girlfriend. With the help of Steve, of course.

Okay, what about Carl and Harriette? What happens with them? Harriette finds out that Carl is the biological father to Little Richie and goes nuts. She kills Rachel and tries pinning the whole thing on Carl. But since this is a family show she kills her by handing her a cartoonish bomb, blowing her up. Carl is miserable and confronts Harriette about how he was always in love with Rachel. How naive Harriette was to not see This happening under her nose and comes clean about his many affairs and the fact he’s been a cop on the take for years. Harriette can’t believe her whole life has been a lie, says she doesn’t want to live any more and Carl says he can finally do something she wants. He drops an anvil on her head that says “2000 lbs” and it makes a squeaky sound when it crushes her to death. Carl falls into a deep malaise addicted to pork rinds and eventually finds out that Eddie was killed because Carl owed a big drug kingpin a hundred thousand dollars for a botched hit. This drug kingpin turns out to be Balki from Perfect Strangers, completing the shows circle from the show it was spun off from. Balki mentions he’s turned out his youngest daughter and that he’d be going for Laura. Carl sees he errors of his ways and kills Balki with a poison pop tart: Carl is a lost man, he finds Steve and begs him to use his machine to make him a better person than he has been. He tells Steve all the good he’s done for him and begs him this favor. Steve says he can help and gets Carl into the machine. Lots of beeps and lights and then Carl drops to the floor clutching his throat barely able to get out a gasp saying “Steve... why?” Steve tells Carl he can’t make a man that bad good, it’s beyond his abilities. All he can do is make sure he can’t hurt the next generation.. he says Laura is pregnant and walks away as Carl is dying. Carl smiles knowing that the next generation has a chance without him around

It wraps up loose ends, has full circle call backs, and gives closure to all the characters. In reality, we got a nerd going to space.

If you went back in time to the time the first season aired and told people that the last season of Family Matters would be Urkel in outer space, people would... probably believe you.
