I am now ashamed of being excited when he liked and retweeted a few of the tweets I make while live tweeting episodes of his Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency show.

Wait Kneelift was Max Landis? Kneelift claimed to be a woman but used Max's email address to sign up with. I'm not speaking for FAN only myself, but I'd be shocked if at least some of the posts weren't from him.

Yeah like I said before, there's ambiguity of whether or not Kneelift was never another person or not. May've been a shared account.

I didn't know Kneelift was meant to be a woman, but yeah I've been around long enough to recognize the name and feel a little skin crawly I'm sure I'd liked some of their posts before.
Much like while I always thought Max was kind of a douche, I did find his pitches generally entertaining to listen to (often times because of how animated and excited he was about it and less the quality of the story he was pitching) and some of his youtube videos humorous.
As for movies that used his scripts, um, Chronicle was good?
You know, a quick glance at Kneelift's profile and they stopped posting on here right around the time Max first started doing creative consulting with the WWE. Hm.

As for movies that used his scripts, um, Chronicle was good? Which is another thing with that Kate Mara thing about him not understanding how people could think he got jobs and is successful as he is because of his father... dude has had 1 movie that was successful... and a bunch of pretty big failures... If his last name wasn't Landis I don't see him even getting to the point where Chronicle gets made.

On like every message board I’ve been on there’s been so many cases of dudes pretending to be girls. Seen a lot of catfishing over the years, but this one is even more hilarious/pathetic because it may have been that asshole Landis.

Me sending Kneelift all my bank account information and credit card numbers seems kind of silly in retrospect.

Speaking of Chronicle twitter.com/joshuatrank/status/1141043649456877568People forget that Trank co-wrote and directed the film and it seems like he recognized how big of a creep Landis was all the way back then so one could argue that Landis had little to do with that film's success.

Yeah, the guy always struck me as an utter douche and these accusations manage to be both God awful and not terribly surprising at the same time. Also, his wrestling video was a bunch of hindsight fantasy booking that pretended there was character depth and consistency when most of what he was analyzing was just shitty writing, lots of it likely done with little to no forethought. Sorry brah, wrestling is wrestling; if you can't communicate it in the ring, it doesn't count for shit. Yeah, his video is a cool watch once, but it falls apart once you realize that he's trying to retroactively apply a character arc where there never was one. Yeah; it's just pretty models goofing around in wrestling costumes with him attempting to make a case that the evolution of Triple H was this overarching story, when in reality, it was done through a series of isolated events; while I do think that in 1995 upon arriving in the WWF, the now-christened Hunter Hearst Helmsley would see himself as world champion in a few years if he worked at it hard given that the WCW environment was not suited for a young and eager performer, it would be silly to assume to think that he planned everything for the long term, or wanted to go exclusively for fan support, which the video makes the argument for. Like, if you look at that promo he had on Sunday Night Heat before Fully Loaded 1999 (you know, the one where he's decked out like he just got done shopping at the Harley-Davidson dealership over at Orchard Park), even though it was one of those wacky "worked shoot" angles, there was that feeling from Triple H that he was at a point in his career where he was more or less focused on showing the people in charge that he could be a top guy they could rely on and not just an act to get the fans' attention. I had forgotten about that darn thing a long time ago, and just remembered how, in hindsight, it falls apart.

Count me among those saying they’ve been hearing chatter about this dude apparently being shit with women for a while. Something about him always felt “off” to me. Also, Bright was flaming hot trash on a stick. Awkwardly enough, one of the women in Wrestling Isn't Wrestling was Mars Argo, who was still recovering from Titanic Sinclair being a shit boyfriend to her for 8 years

Awkwardly enough, one of the women in Wrestling Isn't Wrestling was Mars Argo, who was still recovering from Titanic Sinclair being a shit boyfriend to her for 8 years and Triple H was played by Chloe Dykstra. Huh..it is like he chose woman that already felt weak over past abuses.. Nah,can't be it.
