Don't give Warriors motivation than they need The Warriors are human this year. But maybe the team with all the eyes and hype on them and no real time together and even worse depth than GS is the wrong team to start talking that shit.

Oh yeah they are human and probably finish 5-7 range but Lakers def don't want to talk shit this early as you said for those reasons. That could be a potential first round match up and a upset if Lakers are walking around with undeserved hubris

The NBA showed themselves to be a bunch of sniveling cowards.
Woke at home, totalitarian bootlickers abroad.

Giles’ knee is fxxxed again, even though they’re not outright saying it.
He sat out the last month of last season with a “thigh bruise” but it definitely looked like he jammed/tweaked his knee on the play. Then after only a few practices he had soreness and missed the trip to India... which they said was because sitting on a plane for 40 hours wasn’t ideal. That’s almost believable.
But then he’s still going to miss the next game with the goal of being totally healthy come the season starting.
Too many red flags.
Such a shame... because I legit think he has the most talent on a team loaded with young talent. Body just can’t take it after everything it’s gone through already.

Ben Simmons is going to make a career high 8 threes this year. Bold prediction.

Watching pre season basketball, Zion could very well make the all star this year. Holy f***.

There is no denying he is looking good and Pelicans are getting him easy looks If I didn't put it in my way bold takes thread, I know I said it before on here but I do believe that Pelicans can have a chance at getting 8th seed if everything falls in line for them

Rich Paul tried to throw a little shade at Giannis
He said if Anthony Davis was on that Bucks team last year instead of Giannis, he would have taken them to the Finals because he makes everyone else better
Man, I call full cap on this. AD has had really good teams in NO and you can argue he has had a better team than Giannis did. AD can't stay healthy for one and in general, while he can make a jumpshot more consistently in Giannis, he's not as good a playmaker

Redick is new in town (what are three other things about him?), Zion is a rookie, Ingram and Ball have only played with each other, Favors came from Utah. The talent is great, the rotation is VERY new. So there are going to be some growing pains. I think they are are a 5-8 seed as well, but out first round. On Zion, it's preseason. ESPN and others will cream their jeans, but TJ Warren had 30 the other night. Neither really changes who they are. Zion will probably win ROTY, but he's not gonna play a half-speed Bulls team every night. The Bulls being one of the worst teams and THE worst-coached team (HM: Knicks), without their only real good post defender in Carter Jr. I do wonder what his FG% will be. Probably in the rookie Ben Simmons range (another great athlete who finishes around the rim a lot, albeit with better length), 53-58% depending on volume touches.

I really envied Sacramento's optimism on Giles, but he's had some red flags for a minute. I wouldn't give up all hope now, but I've always been reserved on what to expect out of him. He's a bit of a project as a player and a big project health-wise.
