https://www.instagram.com/p/B2YNPBIDi3_ Season over, get off of this already. You talked about a media bias like you don't have an on court bias with the refs. It goes past numbers. Giannis took a non playoff team the year before to the number 1 seed. He was his teams best offensive and defensive player. Harden put up some crazy scoring numbers no doubt and people want to point to him being up their in steals as defense but getting steals doesn't mean you play Defense. Efficiency is key which Harden wasn't always

James Harden whining about not winning his regular season personal honors. Seems about right.

He鈥檚 not wrong, he deserved the mvp. Imo, nah he didn't He did a damn great job helping keep the Rockets alive but as I keep pointing to he wasn't efficient. Add on the fact that your previous year matters. Rockets were smoking people and Harden was the reason for that but they took a step back. Meanwhile. Giannis elevated his game and had Milwaukee smoking people. No one on that team is anywhere near his level and he made them all good Besides that, Harden shouldn't be caring about MVP anymore. At this point in his career it is about rings.

I thought it was very close and both dudes had amazing seasons and probably would have been MVPs in other years. Harden should have no issues losing that, he lost to a great season by Giannis.

Which is what people should be focusing on. Imo I think Giannis deserved it more but it does not take away from the insane season Harden had. However, he is lowering his stock by harping on this when the MVP was decided months ago. Add on the whining in the playoffs, flopping against the Warriors, and saying that the refs weren't giving him calls makes him come across like the biggest whiner which is a no go because that sticks to your name. You can't be a superstar in the league and whine and complain, that kills your goodwill

Giannis brings more value to his team. This does not mean Hardin is bad, it's just that somebody is else is more valuable to their team

Giannis brings more value to his team. This does not mean Hardin is bad, it's just that somebody is else is more valuable to their team And somebody else could potentially be more valuable than Giannis this year That's the price of being great. Your greatness is put on such a level that when others rise, it's not that you're bad but they are hopping like you have been

That quote says everything you need to know about James Harden. The fact that he can rattle off how many consecutive 30-point games he had or how many times he scored more than 50 or 60 points is telling. It reminds me of the story Doc Rivers told about Dominique Wilkins which was recounted by Bill Simmons. Rivers said that you could stand in the huddle with Wilkins during the final 30 seconds of a one-point playoff game and ask him, "'Nique, how many points do you have?" and Wilkins would respond without missing a beat, "37 ... and I would have 39 if they called that foul back in the second quarter."

Milwaukee had the #1 overall team in the league with a top 5 offense and defense. You always should give thebest player on the best team the MVP unless something historic over the course of an entire season happens (Kobe's 2006 and Westbrook's 2017 campaign are great litmus tests for this).

If Luc comes back on the cheap they need to bring him back and I would say Felton if he still has legs since he spent a few seasons playing with Westbrook and should know how to work with him on the court

Dang. Was hoping Brewer would stick around with the Kings. Maybe they鈥檒l bring Shump back. Shump did fit really well with them If the rotation is PG Fox SG Hield SF Barnes PF Bagley C Dedmon Bench Ariza Giles Bogdan Joseph It will be hard for him to crack consistent minutes but as a vet with experience he'd no doubt be a guy you lean towards in crunch time and come playoff time to give you solid mins

Yeah... it鈥檚 probably unlikely. He鈥檚 probably looking for a situation to play and maybe cash in with one more non-minimum contract.
But that dude meant a lot to this young team. Helped give them their scrappy identity early.
