Luke Walton has to be some sort of a mad genius to get the Kings roster without Bagley and Fox to win pretty easily against Portland.
Or Portland was just very very very drunk.

So not only is Fizdale job on the line, so is GM Scott Perry and President Steve Mills if the team doesn't show "progress"
Can Dolan fire himself?

Perry鈥檚 signings were completely nonsensical... but they鈥檙e all short term and clearly a band-aid after the big names fell through. He probably deserves a little more time. Maybe he can work some trade magic with his weird-fitting short term pieces.

Randle based upon the year he had fine, Gibson or Porter, fine but to sign all 3 is dumb. Add on the deal with Marcus Morris In theory signing everyone to one year deals except Randle who is a 2 year deal is fine in theory but what do you expect to get back? With all of that cap, he should have used it to help facilitate trades and get assets. Memphis got 1st round picks for taking Igoudala, ATL got a first for taking Crabbe, etc... That's what he should had did. You could still got a few of those players but they f***ed it up and panicked

The New York Knicks job became hopeless the moment they landed the third pick in a two-man draft class. They had everything lined up to land the first (or, at worst, second) pick in the Draft and pick Zion Williamson (or Ja Morant). From there, they'd go on to sign two elite free agents.
Then, they landed the third pick. Then Kevin Durant, who seemed like almost a sure thing to land in New York, tore his Achilles and opted to play in New York, just a few miles away from Madison Square Garden. Along with him went Kyrie Irving. That left the Knicks scrambling in the free agent market and instead of the second- or third-tier of free agency, they ended up with interchangeable, expendable role players like Taj Gibson, Bobby Portis, Julius Randle, and Marcus Morris, which isn't even a consolation prize.
The whole purpose of trading Kristaps Porzingis and hitting rock bottom was to turn it around in a year, but the plan collapsed upon itself and they're now stuck with a lousy present and even lousier future with little hope in sight. There's nothing David Fizdale could do to salvage this. Hell, there's nothing a reincarnated Red Auerbach could do to salvage this. The Knicks are a tire fire and, to quote Hank Hill, Knicks fans just need to let it burn. Grab a beer and let it burn.

Dude has actually been better than any of us with concerns could have imagined. Missing out on Zion was a blow but I don't think that is really a problem The free agent bullshit was the problem and how they had no backup plans. Yes, you still have money but if no one wants to come then that money is being wasted as seen this year. I like the players in a vacuum as they are all role fillers and Randle being a potential all star in the right system but I don't like all of them on the same team Randle, Ellington, Morris, Gibson are decent signings and on a championship team that's good depth but when you relying on these dudes that's a problem.

So no AD tonight against Warriors
I am fine with this we got sub 500 teams for the next 4 games all at home so we can afford to let him rest and take care of that shoulder before anything serious happens.
Ole Chef Bron gonna be cookin and we just move Kuz to the 4 and we be good

NO AD and Lebron playing a back to back= Best chance for the Warriors to get at least 1 win against LAL this year

It was never a given that KD (or anyone other superstar) was going to the Knicks. KD's thin skin wouldn't hold up to the scrutiny of the NY media concerning the Knicks. He walks into a trash situation and has to succeed or he undoes the "legacy" of his winning in GS. Comes in as the so-called savior with or without a healthy Achilles, and has to answer all the hard questions when he doesn't make them contenders. And we know how that goes.

James Harden is the sort of dude that would score 100 points and brag about it constantly despite losing the game by 40

2-10 Warriors. I knew things would fall off with Klay Thompson gone for a good chunk of time, Durant going to Brooklyn, among others... but wow.

Steph out, Draymond missed time, the team has no depth It is basically a bunch of barely passible guys getting big mins on a team sans D'Angelo Russell. If you're a Warriors fan it sucks to hit the bottom so hard but there is light at the end of the tunnel As things stand, you're in line for a top 5 pick, Add on the face you can most likely get another pick and a good player when you trade D'Lo at some point. They have to get back to their roots of smart free agent signings and getting players through the draft. They will rebound in a year this is one of those things where this "year off" is needed on a lot of levels for them

Carmelo signed by Portland. Getting beat by Sacramento without Fox and Bagley makes you do crazy desperate things. Good for him. Hopefully he sticks No doubt a year without basketball has made him humble
