Taking aside stuff like the Saudi shows I dare say I might have to go with a more unpopular pick, namely that idiotic battle royale on the AEW preshow. I say this because it was the first impression a new promotion made and it was horrid. Add in it was to crown a #1 contender in Page (who hasn't recovered) and also saw a now top heel (Spears) eliminated by a legless man, and it is the poisoned well that is killing the trees before they can grow.

I know the Gooker is for booking (characters, angles), but if we can add real life to it, YES. "Go be a fan-Gate" should be considered by all means.

If anything I'd hope it opened eyes to when wrestlers/agents/bookers have toxic attitudes towards fans.

I mean, I feel lucky that WWE trolling with the writing is all we get from them. At least they don't pull fans and send them to be threatened personally. Or they have their stars go on personal attacks to fans who critique them.

It's not about the angle being goofy. It's about the writeup being goofy. Wrestlecrap is a damn comedy site.
