Good. They have been working to improve and avoid repeating the mistakes of the Jarrett/Carter eras so deserve some kind of reward for that.

Most people I know have switched to Sling or Philo for TV. Both carry AXS and not Pursuit. It feels like even though AXS is a small channel lots of people get it and might not know they get it.

Do we have any real numbers on AXS' total install base? It's actually got some major players behind it (Ryan Seacrest, Mark Cuban, CBS) and HD broadcasts are more standard format than they were when ROH was on HDNet. I know for me on Verizon Fios, it's on Channel 569 and I get it with the mid-tier HD package.

I get AXS TV but I don’t know if I’ll watch cause I’ve lost complete interest in impact since they moved to pursuit/twitch I don’t even bother checking results or the show thread. It's actually really good now, you should give it another chance.

Its been awhile since I last watched but I’ve given it a couple chances since they moved to twitch but it just didn’t hook me I wanted to like it but once little richie got run over the show just wasn’t the same.Having to watch it live on friday night 10pm to midnight hurts too cause even if I’m home I often forget its on till later in the weekend. If they end up on AXS I may have to continue my tradition of giving them a shot on every new network or creative team they’ve had.

Just realised that it's the first time in 5 years where Impact/TNA has actually moved up in their jumping from channel to channel.

AXS stellar line up is almost entirely Music. It's only worth watching for NJPW and even then I'd highly recommend the YT channel

I was listening to an old show from PWInsider and the answer when they were asked about this was interesting. "That is the rumor making the rounds, that AXS TV is negotiating to take Impact. That rumor would be factually incorrect. There are no negotiations for Impact to be picked up by AXS TV, the station. I'll say that."

Yes. Brian said TNT would announce AEW TV show at the WarnerMedia Upfronts, and he ended up being correct.

Yes. Brian said TNT would announce AEW TV show at the WarnerMedia Upfronts, and he ended up being correct. Coming from Front Row Brian, it’s probably about a 50/50. He’s had some major scoops over the years, but he’s also said a lot of bullshit. He’s best friends, or was, with Chael Sonnen so that should say a lot. EDIT: Also, the Asper family who owns Anthem could likely buy AXS if they wanted, but Anthem themselves certainly doesn’t have that capital.

That would be a fitting, if disappointing end to Impact as a promotion, given how many years it was booked by Russo. 'Booking is good, reputation is improving, there's a better TV deal in the works... SWERVE! No deal, everything ends!'

did Voices of Wrestling think they could create a buzz that would force AXS to take Impact?

Their past is catching up to them in the worst way possible Once Dixie downsized them off Spike, they had to keep going lower and lower and now when they seem to be able to rise up, they get smacked back down. The Twitch stream is not a bad idea but if they have no TV you almost lose the super indy cred and basically become a passing territory to work
