I hope she comes back as "The Wrestler" Liv Morgan and wears nothing but black trunks. Or she comes back as “The Wrestler” Liv Morgan and does her best impression of Randy “The Ram” Robinson.

I’m hoping she comes out full ‘Harley Quinn’ psycho style and attacks Charlotte with a hammer. Pulls out all the dirty tricks she can think of during matches. Make slight changes to the colour scheme and style. Keep the blue tongue.
She will be the most loved character in the WWE.

She’s gonna bring out her inner Jersey and stab Charlotte. And because it's Charlotte, she still wouldn't sell it.

Actually, wait, how on earth was that a great showing? Charlotte called her a loser, Graves spent the entire time calling her trash, other than a few token hits she got absolutely destroyed, Charlotte locked on her finisher about as cleanly and effortlessly as she possibly could have, Liv tapped immediately, and then Liv freely admitted she's a loser. About the only way it could've made her look worse is if she were Mike Kanellis. She was able to show off her move set and had a few good moments when she outsmarted Charlotte. That, to me, qualifies as a good showing. She wasn’t going to beat Charlotte flat out. I can't really agree with your generous take on Liv's match there. I wasn't expecting her to win outright unless it was with a surprise rollup, but she pretty much jobbed to Charlotte tonight. Didn't help that she was still using the Riott Squad entrance just like Sarah Logan either. Charlotte was humoring her until she decided to take the match somewhat seriously then it was over. And as others have said, even if she did have a good showing, the "looking good in defeat" trope is one that rarely if ever translates to a sustained push in WWEland these days.

On one hand, I agree, but on the other, it's really not like winning was in Liv's job description much, even in Riott Squad's height. She was usually the fall girl for the group, and before this, never on TV when the group ended. Losing to Charlotte and getting a couple of moves in is still basically a promotion for her.

I only saw the highlights so it might be different if I saw the whole match but it did look like Liv got some definite offence in. Granted she didn't win and she tapped out a bit quickly for my liking but otherwise she took the fight to one of the top women after being completely absent for several months. It would be nice if we get a real feud from this and it elevates her. However, even if they don't directly feud, Liv can work her way up from this. The story of someone from low on the card taking the fight to one of the top dogs and moving up as a result despite losing is relatively common. As such, this could mean good things for Liv, assuming she is on tv next week.

Clearly, she will be doing a female Mojo Rawley gimmick. She will come back wearing an outfit made out of a garbage bag with a blue crayon scribbled all over half of her face.

I'm just trying to figure out where this groundswell of "WWE MUST PUSH THIS WOMAN" support for Morgan has come from. She hasn't really had much of an opportunity to showcase herself as an individual in the ring or on a mic because her entire main roster run until this week has been with Riott Squad, something that I don't think ever really caught on that much anyway because of the haphazard origins of the group and subsequent booking, so I didn't think she'd made so much of an impression on people. Is it the same as Dana Brooke where, there was a rough start, sure, but you can sense proper desire and hunger of someone that really wants to improve the craft and gives it full effort no matter how little they're actually doing?

Except that we've been shown time and time again that a "good showing" when you lose means jack shit in WWE. Yeah that only matters if there is followup. WWE usually just leaves the looks good in defeat as the end point.
There are exceptions though. Kofi's push started with a loss at Elimination Chamber, and Bayley's current run started with her losing a close match to Charlotte on SDL back in April.

Kofi push started with winning 3 matches in a gauntlet. And the loss to Charlotte didnt really make her look that good imo.

I hope she comes back as "The Wrestler" Liv Morgan and wears nothing but black trunks. Honestly? It would be interesting if a woman wrestler actually did wear just black trunks (and chest covering), shaved her head, and was a serious, belligerent jerkass. A female Randy Orton, of sorts, heh.

It's axiomatic that you sycophantic gelatinous tape worms would fail to appreciate the calibre of an exquisite athlete such as myself. My style is impetuous. My defence is impregnable and I'm just ferocious.

Nobody wants "real". "Real" is awkward, "real" is uncomfortable and, most importantly, "real" is boring. If people wanted "real" then they'd be watching the evening news instead of wrestling. Be fake. Be incredibly fake. Fake is awesome. Fake is entertaining. Fake is fun. Be the fakiest fake to ever fake. Be fun.
