Nobody wants "real". "Real" is awkward, "real" is uncomfortable and, most importantly, "real" is boring. If people wanted "real" then they'd be watching the evening news instead of wrestling. Be fake. Be incredibly fake. Fake is awesome. Fake is entertaining. Fake is fun. Be the fakiest fake to ever fake. Be fun. No fun, only misery.

I hope she doesn't change. I like her gimmick and look.
I'm here for her, Ember, Mandy, and Sonya getting shine on Smackdown.

I'm just trying to figure out where this groundswell of "WWE MUST PUSH THIS WOMAN" support for Morgan has come from. She hasn't really had much of an opportunity to showcase herself as an individual in the ring or on a mic because her entire main roster run until this week has been with Riott Squad, something that I don't think ever really caught on that much anyway because of the haphazard origins of the group and subsequent booking, so I didn't think she'd made so much of an impression on people. Is it the same as Dana Brooke where, there was a rough start, sure, but you can sense proper desire and hunger of someone that really wants to improve the craft and gives it full effort no matter how little they're actually doing? I can only speak for myself on this, but you pretty much nailed it. Liv clearly wants to be a great wrestler. The crazy bumps. Trying to finish matches even when injured. Even little things, like the fact that she did the entire post-match "I'm gonna be real" stuff while limping to sell the Figure 8. She wants this. I do worry that Liv is going to be the new Candice Michelle, where right about the time people start saying, "You know what? She's actually really good!", her body succumbs to all the injuries caused by her early recklessness. I was unaware there was a Dana Brooke movement. I want no part of that one.

So she is gonna lose all her personality and come out in a 3 piece suit next week and give everyone a power point presentation on how real she now is. so mixed tag with drew gulak? or is he not doing that anymore? (I don't watch any of the network shows)

Yeah that only matters if there is followup. WWE usually just leaves the looks good in defeat as the end point.
There are exceptions though. Kofi's push started with a loss at Elimination Chamber, and Bayley's current run started with her losing a close match to Charlotte on SDL back in April.
After nearly a decade of being in midcard hell for Kofi and Bayley being Alexa Bliss's personal bitch for her entire WWE main roster career prior to that point.

Yeah, that’s pretty much why I’m in support of whatever Liv gets the chance to do. Because she wants this. The girl wants to improve and has shown a passion for wrestling. Shit, that’s how I personally feel about Mandy and Sonya as well. They could’ve chosen any career path, especially Mandy, but they’re out here trying their best with this wrestling thing. As for Liv? Her mannerisms, selling, and charisma are pretty much her strong points imo. Her wrestling hasn’t been given the proper time to be showcased, however, it’s clear that she’s improved since NXT. That’s why I’m on the Liv train lmao

I’ve been on the Liv Morgan train since she was Marley in NXT and have been waiting a long time for get more screen time.
Even the Carmella lite comparisons were rampant I didn’t notice or care.
Didn’t even mind The Riott Squad pairing when most were saying the pairing didn’t make since, it did to me because my two closest friends and I have vastly different style taste from one another.
Shame they got dismantled for no reason. The three have great chemistry together and are legit friends.
Now let her get her own music. Keep the look it’s cool and different.
Go Smackdown Liv

It's axiomatic that you sycophantic gelatinous tape worms would fail to appreciate the calibre of an exquisite athlete such as myself. My style is impetuous. My defence is impregnable and I'm just ferocious. I want this for real.

I was unaware there was a Dana Brooke movement. I want no part of that one. She was one of the most over people in the WrestleMania battle royal this year, seemingly out of nowhere. Carried her into a Money In The Bank match, at least. It was also revealed by someone who works backstage that called in during a Wade Keller post show podcast that she has a great work ethic constantly pitching ideas, showing up early to train more in ring, first one to arrive last one to leave etc. . I think that's also helped earned her more respect with a lot of fans in that similar to Liv they appreciate people who clearly have passion and are always trying to better their situation. It's hard to notice because she's hidden away on Main Event but Dana while she's still not great or anything has noticeably gotten better in ring and is constantly trying and doing different things. On the spoilers for Main Event taped this week it said she did a swanton bomb which is not something would I think was possible three years ago when she always came off as so clumsy and uncoordinated. With Liv I hope this isn't leading to a big gimmick overhaul and her becoming yet another arrogant blonde heel character who thinks her shit don't stink that we've seen a million times over the years. I think her character and look are both the best things she has going for her right now mainly because of how unique she is in both of those regards. I agree that she has big face potential and needs to stay in that role. She's pretty quick and flashy in the ring which she was able to show in the match with Charlotte unlike in the Riott Squad where she was a heel. It seems like the crowd was reacting very positively to her too which is impressive considering she hasn't been on TV in months.

She’s gonna bring out her inner Jersey and stab Charlotte. Liv would become the most popular wrestler on FAN if that happened and I like Charlotte (well, most of the time).

Meltzer in the Observer...
"Morgan’s promo time, loss to Charlotte and promo after losing about how she’s got to be real is to lead to a new character and a new look.
I always saw, dating back many years, marketing similarities between Morgan and Paige VanZant in UFC, and even though VanZant was a mediocre fighter, UFC was able to market her into a major star and drawing card (her getting on Dancing With The Stars helped but she was on the way either way) while WWE, which can control outcomes, never got anywhere with Morgan. Part of it was Morgan debuting as a heel when that character has to be a babyface to work."

Her look is great so it sucks that they will change it if indeed true, no doubt her new character will be bitchy blond who will be a sidekick for alexa. Liv could be a fantastic face but cant see it happening.

Well, if she's going to be "real", I want her to come out in sweatpants, hair in rollers, zit cream on her face, smoking a cigarette.

I thinking’s a combination of sympathy from being taken from the riot squad and being given nothing in return for months, and the Brie Bella stuff. Plus people were starting to like her work with the Riott squads and her Harley Quinn gimmick
