Not because they are dangerous, but because they are synonymous with a certain superstar.
Stone Cold Stunner- KO should not be using this RKO- probably my favorite finisher of all time
I was ok with Seth using the Pedigree since he was a student of HHH and I think the FU/AA could be a reusable move

Please, no more people with the spear as a finisher. Swear, one of the MYC's had at least 2 different people finish a match that way

Yes. A devastating move by HBK turns into a run of the mill regular move because everyone and their mother uses it.

yeah the spear needs to be put on the shelf for a good long while... there are like a half dozen people using it as a signature or a finisher at one time... and most look pretty terrible.
Superkick is up there too... but I'm not fully against canning that.. cause at least most peopel can still pull that off and make it look painful...
The RKO doesn't bother me since it was already popular by like 2 other people before Randy even got it.
Maybe not doing the jumping part of the Crusher.

Despite others using it in other promotions, at the very least in WWE the Tombstone Piledriver should be retired when Undertaker finally hangs it up for good. Not because they are dangerous, but because they are synonymous with a certain superstar. Stone Cold Stunner- KO should not be using this RKO- probably my favorite finisher of all time So many have used variations of these two moves over the years, from Johnny Ace's Ace Crusher to DDP's Diamond Cutter to Mikey Whipwreck's Whippersnapper to Disco Inferno's Chartbuster and hell, before the Pedigree it was Triple H's finisher (just look up his first WWF match) just to name a few that I can't see someone not having some form of variation of the move at some point. Also, I'm feeling they're giving Owen's the stunner right now because they want a moment where he and Austin pull of the move at the same time.

I like the superkick as a "special" move that is not a finisher.

The Women's Right
I'm not against run of the mill moves as finishers. JBL's clothesline from hell was believable because he was a huge dude and got a good running start. Big Show's KO punch is believable because his fist is the size of a man's head. But Lacey? Please. If Nia Jax can't knock Becky out with a roaring elbow, then a punch from Lacey sure isn't going to do it.

Nah I'm not really a fan of the idea moves should be retired for their being too iconically someone else's. So many iconic finishers are really direct and simple enough that it'll only hasten the wild escalation of insane bad idea finishers that are really going to have a negative impact on people in the future. Let people claim moves for themselves and see if someone's able to redefine the perception of a move to future generations.

None of them for that reason. Limiting the number of good finishers people have to choose from is how you end up with Wade Barrett's little sissy slam and whatever the hell that thing is that Byron Saxton did.

No issue with the superkick itself but I wish Dolph would stop tuning up the band beforehand.

Not because its synonymous, but the Bailey to Belly is lame as all hell.

It's kinda funny how deadly a finisher the DDT was at first and now it's just a run-of-the-mill move for a lot of people.

Kevin Owens using a terrible looking stunner whilst literally acting like Steve Austin needs to go like yesterday. Literally feels like a backyarder.

Lacey needs a reason for the Women's Right to be so powerful. Take a page from Luger and say she had some injury and now her knuckles are titanium.
Mundane finishers only work is the wrestler is a freak or delivers it in amazing fashion. Like the above mentions of Big Show and JBL. Big Show looks like he could punch your face off, and JBL laid into the clothesline as if his life depended on taking your head off.
Overall I don't think any moves should be retired (unless too dangerous). Overused ones like the Spear need to be rarer, but not just removed. Iconic things like the Stunner/Tombstone just need to be delivered with a different flair. Like just don't drop fingers after the stunner and you are ok. Don't throat slash then tombstone, come up with something else.

Not because its synonymous, but the Bailey to Belly is lame as all hell. Agreed. She needs an out-of-nowhere finisher (akin to, but not the Stunner). I like the B2B as a setup.

I don't mind the idea of Owens using the Stunner in theory, I just mind because he's terrible at it and no one knows how to sell it.
