Seth always manages to come across as a insecure dork.
Which is astonishing given he's rich, successful and has a hot girlfriend.

Performing, on-screen chemistry is not the same thing as romantic or sexual chemistry off-screen. There are plenty of actors whose real-life relationships don't translate to film. Similarly, some actors detest each other but come across like deeply close friends or lovers onscreen. Rock and Triple H is a perfect example, they never liked each other but they always had rediculous chemistry.

It begs the question- who is allowed to have on screen chemistry? The booking for all of these people is so wooden and predictable. They seemed to be going to “Becky wears the pants” as their babayface concept and it didn’t catch on. I’m sure behind the scenes they’re a lovely couple, but the writing for that team/feud/match was terrible. Seth has to grow thicker skin. Stephanie and Triple H have played a more convincing babyface couple than these two, and no- I’m not jealous of Seth here. I remember someone in one of the live threads having a reason for their lack of chemistry on screen that made perfect sense to me in that the whole "Becky wears the pants" thing likely isn't how their real life relationship is. IRL Becky seems to be a nice quirky girl next door type and isn't this alpha personality that her current persona is. Going off what I've heard Seth seems to be more of a Type A personality and IRL is most likely actually The Man in their relationship. Since the Extreme Rules it seems like they've been starting to go more in the opposite direction and have been starting to make Seth look more like the Alpha with him snapping on Baron for hurting Becky. Made Seth look a lot better then he has looked but on the other hand I can see and also understand people thinking it makes Becky look too weak. That's basically the biggest problem with this relationship angle is that either way you can't win. Either Becky is the alpha and Seth looks weak in that he needs a woman to save him or Seth is the alpha and your top woman that you've been trying to book as a badass ends up coming off like a damsel in distress character who has to be protected by her man. Going off what happened on Raw it seems like they're splitting them for now with each getting separate storylines in their respective divisions. Hopefully it stays that way as bringing their real life relationship on screen was stupid to begin with and has really hurt both of them IMO.

In movies real life talented couple can have bad on screen chemistry, doesn't negate the irl sparks or talent. Sometimes things just don't translate to screen

At least Seth is sucking Becky down his black hole of charisma.
It’s probably jealously. Not the fact everything Seth touches turns bland.

I've no real opinion on their chemistry, as I'm barely watching WWE. But I can confidently say I didn't like Seth when he was dating that Nazi chick either. Or at any point afterwards.
His insecurity roadshow is rather tiresome as well. Some people don't like you, dude, get over it. It's not like it makes a difference to your life.

As a dude that doesn't watch any more I gotta ask--was there any story reason to put em together? Goin by comments here it doesn't add anything, and when I still tuned in their characters had never even interacted before. I can't speak to any chemistry or lack of&don't care either way, but did they put them together on screen just cuz they are off? How lazy They basically just showed the picture of them kissing that made the rounds awhile back on Raw one week and then they suddenly couldn't stop bringing it up.

No fans= no jobs. Literally the only reason he’s a multi millionaire and not working at Hot Topic Mon-Fri, and playing in a My Chemical Romance cover band on weekends is because of loyal fans supporting him and spending their hard earned money on him. He’s more then welcome to tell fans to blow him, but he needs to remember that he is getting paid ALOT of money to entertain these people who spend their money supporting him. If they aren’t entertained, part of that is on him regardless of how flawless he feels he is.
If I’m a carpenter, and somebody pays me to build a garden shed and I build a dog house, I f***ed up. I don’t get to call the guy whose money I took and say “Bitch, you’re just jealous you can’t build that good a dog house” or “You’re mean!! I tried my hardest on that garden shed!!!” because I got paid to do something and I didn’t do it.
Obviously it’s not all on Seth, or Alexa, but lashing out at the fans isn’t exactly a good look. We have like a 400 page thread ripping Snyder for lipping off fans for not understanding Batman v Superman, this really isn’t much different.
And I say this a big, long time supporter of Seth. Dating back to Age of the Fall, but he’s been coming across as a massive douchebag lately. There’s a world of difference between criticism and being an ignorant douche, and both Seth and Alexa have attacked fans for voicing legitimate criticisms. It’s insanely off putting, and I’m struggling to stay interested in WWE right now anyways.

I was gonna do a thread about this cuz I've been thinking about it since the Extreme Rules thread: OK another thing, if they wanna sell this romance on screen it's like. Character wise they did nothing for it. They just suddenly were like "yeah they're dating." that's not a story. imagine a romcom where it's just 2 characters living their lives and then halfway through it jump cuts to them being a couple. Even if they did have chemistry we have no bearing on what kind of relationship they are. They just kind of get cheeky and be like "we go on dates" like OKAY? Go watch like any romance. Watch a normal show or movie's romance. Read a book. Read a fanfic. This sucks.

One more annoying thing about this quote is that he implies only male fans could possibly have an issue with their on-screen chemistry.

As others have said here, chemistry in a relationship doesn’t always correlate with chemistry (or lack thereof) on screen, in business, etc. How many famous couples have had great on-screen chemistry, only to split up a short time later.
OTOH, plenty of people in strong relationships, some of whom have been married for many years, have no desire to be in business together because they know it wouldn’t work out. For that matter, many people in the dating realm refuse to date coworkers, because of the potential issues it can create.
Becky, of all people, should know that, considering that for years, she claimed she wouldn’t date another wrestler in her company. (And to be fair, maybe she does. It’s Seth & not her, after all, making these comments. But she does seem to be pretty on board with these kinds of comments from Seth. Whether she agrees or just doesn’t want to make an argument of it, I don’t know.)

Rollins just comes off as someone who was handed the keys to the kingdom and became totally drunk off of it, he can't handle anyone telling him where he might be going wrong, he's lashing out at friggen Indy wrestlers, and now he's trying to basically say fans are jealous of their relationship because he and Becky's on screen chemistry and booking sucks?? That's not even accounting the shit he said about Moxley "Taking his ball and going home"
Seth has legitimately become one of the worst people in wrestling right now, great worker, but a complete inept asshole in the public eye. It's making me ROOT FOR LESNAR of all things at Summerslam.
