Makes sense that they promote the product but a show where they go backstage and explain ‘insider terms’ sounds awful. That particular one will be online, it won't be airing on FOX or FS1.

I swear they’ve done the moving truck bit once before Twice, actually. The move to USA, then later, Jesse and Festus were "My Moving Company" to promote Smackdown going to My Network.

That bit about the show being presented more as a sport makes me wonder if they'll use the FOX Sports aesthetic for Smackdown.

"There will be a one-hour launch show at the end of September to help familiarise FOX viewers with the WWE's stars and storylines."
They're such (by their own admission) a giant company with such a wide reach in entertainment, but they need a WWE 101 show to explain this shit to people who (largely) already know the product? That seems like such an uneducated misfire.

FOX: Alright, that intro show went super well! We really covered all the major players on Smackdown pretty nicely. New fans should be good to go.
Graves Week 1: Now as you all know with the Wild Card Rule, anyone from RAW can appear so you'll be seeing a lot of their top superstars every week!

The NXT on TV thing sounds like a really bad idea. One, FS1 is not available in all homes, TNT to my knowledge is available in way more, so using that as a counter programming tactic to "Stick it to AEW" sounds really dumb, and if they take it off the WWE Network that is going to hurt their subscriptions and interest in the overall show imo.
Like this all sounds very needlessly complicated, just air Smackdown, why does it have to be 10 extra f***ing steps??

Man, that's a really weird coincidence that they're considering moving NXT to television right as AEW's show is starting up. It would be, if their hadn’t been on going negotiations since FS1 lost the UFC to have NXT and possibly other WWE shows to replace them. FS1 was airing like 50 hours of UFC programming a week, and have picked up .5 hours of WWE so far so they need more badly. Pretty much anything WWE would air would beat the FS1 average

Stuff’s been in the works for a while of NXT being on FS1 but the moment they were asked when it’d be there, the reaction was Vince with a Grinch meme face going “Wednesday...”

This is the greatest thing i've ever heard. How many decades on from trying to rebrand as legitimate entertainment with Emmy nominations and an ESPY category, but they're still going to drive Gran Metalik around on a flatbed truck waving at people from Delaware to Vermont asking them to tune in to wrestling

The execs, that greenlit this deal, may want to keep that moving truck on standby.

If NXT leaves the network then I'll be cancelling my subscription. Not sure if it's still the case but last year, Hulu was airing full episodes of NXT and full editions of NXT TakeOver events on a slightly tape delayed on-demand basis in the States.

The New TNN back when they had Pop did it for real back around the time when WWF went there. They did a traveling talk show on a flatbed truck that was designed to inform the masses that they weren’t TNN anymore they were The New TNN and they had Pop.It was hosted by the well regarded Steve Marmel it did terrible ratings and was quickly cancelled.

Oh FFS, please don't mess with nxt.
Still mildly annoyed they got me hooked on nxt"free" on sky sports and then moved it to the network, will be proper pissed off if moving it to TV wrecks the successful formula.

Presumably shown between Star Trek TNG reruns, Raw, and RollerJam.
