The New TNN back when they had Pop did it for real back around the time when WWF went there. They did a traveling talk show on a flatbed truck that was designed to inform the masses that they weren’t TNN anymore they were The New TNN and they had Pop.It was hosted by the well regarded Steve Marmel it did terrible ratings and was quickly cancelled. Presumably shown between Star Trek TNG reruns, Raw, and RollerJam. Can’t forget Mad TV & Baywatch.

Still think 205 would be better for that sports feel they want. Plus Bryan on there against Gable or Gallagher or any of those guys would be amazing.

I think the only issue there is whether they’d have to tape it before RAW instead, or have it sit in the can for five days after taping on the Friday before with SmackDown.

And filming another hour of wrestling after having Main Event, RAW and whatever the dark match is? Yikes x Infinity.

I like this NXT move. Get the casuals to watch, which in turn will give those guy a better chance to get over on the main roster.

I've been wanting a way to watch NXT outside of the WWE Network, but if they're going head-to-head with AEW's TNT show, it's an easy choice for me to watch AEW instead.

*There will be huge promotion of the move, including WWE Superstars on a "moving truck" going from city to city to make fans aware of the move. Psht. SEE, John Oliver?! The WWE totally DOES pay for their wrestlers' travel!

Could NXT realistically do a 1 hour FS1 show and a 1 hour network show?

Maybe the network show is the "main" NXT like usua, while the FS1 show is an hour-long recap of what happens on "main" NXT, along with highlights from live NXT events?

A lot of this sounds so stupid, like the truck stuff.
Fans of real sports are going to shit on the WWE so hard.

*There will be a weekly talk show on FS1 with Renee Young as the host, likely to be on Tuesdays. If this means that Talking Smack is returning, I will love Fox forever.

This all sounds like a wonderful recipe for what could be a trainwreck for the ages.

I'm surprised at the level of snark in this thread... these are all positives for the WWE no?
FOX are doubling down on the investment they've made and are committed to heavily promoting the show to new audiences. And Talking Smack/NXT are going to wind up on tv too.

They have to double down on WWE at this point, its not like UFC is going to crawl back to them anytime soon and they lost a ton of programming when they left them which only WWE can refill since they have 100 shows across the Network.

I think we should be talking about the fact that FOX, and not WWE, are the ones wanting to try and hinder AEW.
