I wonder how Joe/Dolph will randomly easily lose this time?

Why’d they have to pin Joe, though?
*insert Dolph it should’ve been me joke*

I know it aint just a thing for Kofi but for some reason just sticks out in his run...everyone else can hit their finisher on him and he can kick out but he gets to hit his one time and no one kicks out.
Where is the nerf Kofi patch...because the Joe is still a bitch patch continues to run wild.

I thought the Smackdown Women's title was supposed to be defended.

You know what would've made sense for this show? A Women's Tag Team Championship match.

You know what would've made sense for this show? A Women's Tag Team Championship match. You mean like one that took place after the show WWE showing how important this is.....

- PWInsider.com reports that Finn Balor was pulled from the show due to an illness. Balor was not injured and ended up being replaced by Ali who lost to Shinsuke Nakamura.
- The advertised triple threat match for the Smackdown Women's Title, which was Bayley vs. Charlotte vs. Alexa Bliss, did not air on the Network. The match took place after the special as the main event for the live crowd.

Next month, the long awaited sequel: WWE Smack Em Whack Em 2019. Preferably without the insufferable Bushwhackers segments this time.
Seriously, I'm not surprised they didn't air the Bayley match as they're likely to be running a Bayley/Charlotte feud post-Summerslam, but it would have been so easy for them to show the IIconics/Kabuki match for something different, and of course they didn't.

So, this was only a partial live special/partial house show, like the Shield's Final Chapter?
Of course they baited and switched us with an entire match (plus last minute illness with Balor), it is a Smackdown show after all.

I wonder if Kofi, Dolph, and Joe will make more than $500.

Did WWE themselves actually announce it for the televised part at some point? Or was it news sites looking at the advertised listings of the entire house card from, say, Bridgestone Arena themselves?

Can't wait for the WWE Network Platinum Tier Event Smackus Christi, with the main event of Shane McMahon Vs. Kofi Vs. Joe in a Ladder match for the WWE Title. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Joe still somehow gets pinned, but the match is thrown out as a DQ, Kofi retains.
