Rosenbaum's take on Lex is, hands down, my favorite take on Lex ever. I truly hope Michael's playing coy here. I want nothing more than to see him have a pivotal part in this. I think Kristen Kreuk might end up being a part of the crossover too, she already had a summer show on the CW, so hopefully she'll be game.

Also, I'm hoping we somehow get Shipp's Jay Garrick and Barry Allen to share a moment. That's be mind-boggilingly awesome.

If the only Smallville alum they can get for the crossover is Kristin Kreuk, then they might as well just cancel the crossover and end all the shows right now. I'd rather see them bust Allison Mack out of jail and have her film some scenes on the lamb then us getting the return of Smallville's Lana Lang.

I have no doubt in my mind that Rosenbaum is simply playing with everyone..if they approached him he would absoloutley take it as long as he feels they treat the Smallville cast with the respect he feels they deserve as he said this on his podcast that his only fear would be they bring back he and tom and they use them as just something meaningless that ultimately disrepects the work of everyone that worked on that show.
I honestly feel pretty sad for those that never watched Smallville because they missed out on an absoloutley legendary performance from both Glover and Rosenbaum as the video will so elequently show off.

I am hearing that there will be one Lex Luthor and it will be Cryer and not Rosenbaum in the crossover.

I had this really cool idea I had in my head that I might as well get out. The chances of it happening are really slim but it'd be damn funny.
Since Pariah is involved and in the comics, he travels to a universe about to be destroyed by the Anti-Monitor and sees it go before warping off again, what if it was a recent bad DC based show like the Wonder Woman pilot or Powerless or something like that?
Like, it'd be a fun gag for fans, it'd fall into that "Get everyone" mantra they seem to be having for this but also sets up the "Shit's gotten real" moment of Crisis that everything's at risk here.

Considering the rumor is they want Welling and went out of their way to have the Smallville theme in the show, doubt that would have been used. On the flip side, there would be more emotional investment...🤔

Mona becomes the Anti-Monitor (the Anti-Mona-tor?) and eats him.

Nah, what’s Gene Hackman up to nowadays? He's 89, retired 10-15 years ago and, with the exception of some commercial voice over work, out of the public eye and likely to stay that way. John Shea from Lois and Clark instead? I always relished his acting.

This stinks. Even though I fell off of LoT something fierce, he was always a refreshing presence on the show(s). Good luck to him. So looks like Routh's last CW hurrah is as Superman. This.....is ok.

So, uh, this is the first time that I've realized that Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford are married. No wonder why they have such good chemistry together as Ray and Nora.
And I think Rosenbaum was playing coy there. He and Stephen Amell recently collaborated on a wine together for Amell's Nocking Point winery. While that doesn't necessarily mean anything on its own, you'd have to imagine that means he'd have an "in" for any Arrowverse stuff that way.
