I have a few myself(obviously this thread may have spoilers for people who've never seen certain movies, but most of mine are pretty old.)
Natural Born Killers is a good one, with the diner. As a result of this movie, Waiting for the Miracle by Leonard Cohen and Shitlist by L7 are two of my favorite songs. The whole movie is great.
My all time favorite is Die Hard With a Vengeance. Summer In The City playing with these shots of New York that just feel warm and nostalgic, of people going about their day. Then suddenly a very scary and realistic explosion happens, setting the chaotic tone for the rest of the film.
The Dark Knight's opening scene is brilliantly done. "I suppose this Joker guy told you to kill me as soon as we loaded the money?" "No, I kill the bus driver." "Bus driver?!"
As for one that isn't so violent, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone sets the magical and wonderful tone for the whole movie series. The moment we see Dumbledore appear gives me goosebumps every time, along with Mcgonagall transfiguring from the cat. And we see Hagrid too, of course.

The opening montage of Victor and Logan fighting in the various wars in the begining of X-Men Orgins was pretty awesome

My favorite movie. Scorcese at the top of his game.

Four Weddings and a Funeral Hugh Grant and Charlotte Coleman oversleep and swear. A lot.
Any of the Indiana Jones but Temple of Doom’s dance routine might be the best.
Reservoir Dogs. Tipping, Madonna and old phone books. Then they walk down the street.
The Godfather “I believe in America”
Too many James Bond openings to go through. But special mention to Casino Royale and The Spy who Loved Me. The latter of which, I’ll just post this...

True Lies. You can't beat Arnold coming in with scuba gear from under frozen water and having a tux on underneath and then doing a tango with Tia Carrere, and then blowing up something.

Even people who hate Watchmen usually acknowledge the opening is excellent.

It’s more low key, but the opening to John Woo’s “The Killer”, with the iconic theme playing over shots of the church before Lee’s manager approaches him to hand him the target info is a really nice calm before the storm opening before the ferocious nightclub shootout.

The Lion King: That whole opening is just magic to watch Saving Private Ryan: The D-Day landing sequence is one of the most realistic portrayals of war that's ever been seen. Jaws: That opening kill set the standard for the primal scares the movie was in for. Baby Driver: That first job is just a technical masterpiece of editing, music, and stunts. Batman vs. Superman: The rest of the movie had problems, but showing the final battle from Man of Steel from the ground perspective and showing Bruce racing around the city was a sight to see.

Goldeneye
Starts u off with a nice WIIIDE shot of a dam and a guy running ...of course it is 007 but can't quite be sure of that yet and then he starts putting on this harness and all this other stuff and you realize...he is about to jump....nawwww they wouldn't.
And then in IMO the single most breathtaking shot in any bond film he jumps...aaaaaaaaaaand he is falling.....and falling.....still falling
phew he made it
And then we finally get to see bond for the first time....upside down in a bathroom stall
usual bond fair shooting up goons and quips along with a new wrinkle in the bond history we get to see another 00 agent working alongside bond
And then more usual bond fare shooting more goons
HOLY SHIT HE DIVED OFF THE END OF THE RUN AWAY ON A BIKE TO REACH A FALLING PLANE! all while the facility explodes in the background
All before the opening title...that aint just an opening that is a spectacle
NOW CUE THE GAWD DAMN AMAZING INTRO!

Damn I can't believe I forgot about this one. One of the best movies I've ever seen. What's awesome about it, is usually when you have an opening like that, you have the main character have a, "Oh my god, how did I end up here?!" moment. But not Henry. Haha. He's all about this life.
