In my preparation for Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, I re-watched my favorite Tarantino movie this weekend: Basterds.
Hot damn, does it hold up. I am effortlessly entertained every time I watch it no matter how many times I've seen it. Literally everything Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz do is ridiculously entertaining. So many great quotes and every scene is so re-watchable.

It's definitely in the upper echelons of his library, for sure. I saw it in theaters with a friend, and we were blown away, mostly by Christoph Waltz.

The part in the German Tavern is one of the greatest ever movie scenes. The entire movie really is great at building tension in individual scenes, but yeah, they really hit genuine panic buttons in this scene.

Dude, the opening scene with him interrogating the dairy farmer STRESSES ME THE HELL OUT every single time I watch it.

Did you do something right or wrong as a writer/director when you make the audience think, "Damn, that is one entertaining Nazi." lol

Never has strudel been used in such a terrifying way.
