I miss all the wild, random EU figures that were coming out in the late-2000’s. Another thing Disney has f***ing ruined about Star Wars. Well, you can get some of those in the 6-inch Black Series line, but it's hard to get good EU stuff if you're following the 5 POA or TVC stuff. the 6" Revan was so out of left-field

Revan's extremely popular. Arguably the most popular Legends character that hasn't already been reintroduced to canon like Thrawn. Still kinda sad that we were one George Lucas veto away from him being part of canon via Clone Wars.

FWIW, Hasbro still makes a lot of Legends figures. I still see them in toy departments in stores around here and my Darth Revan Black Series figure was made in 2016.
It's also worth noting that with the old EU figures, a lot of time they were made when, for better or worse, nothing new was coming out in Star Wars. With the new movies and shows, there's a lot of new canon material to make figures and toys out of.
I'm so disappointed with Disney and Hasbro's offerings as far as the 3 3/4 line is concerned. Their basic line lacks the charm and sturdiness of the 90's POTF and POTJ lines and their articulated black series 3 3/4 figs are so flimsy & cheaply made. They seemed to quit on the Rebels line after the first season and never even made the Ghost, which is the iconic ship for the show. They made the U-Wing from Rogue one, but didn't make anything worthwhile vehicle wise for Last Jedi, like those new AT-M6 walkers.

I looked the other day at the new SW figures on the pegs. OK when did it become 8 to 10 bucks a figure?
Sure last time I bought any was the mid 90s POTF line and they were what 4 or 5 bucks? I know the old Kenner line was a buck to buck fifthy.
I had an almost complete set of the old Kenner line as a kid. Was missing Yakface,of course, and 2 others from the POTF line. Had a few vehicles. But sold most of this stuff at a yard sale when I was 14. Still have my original Fett, mail away Akbar and Vader. Then got a Grand Moff Tarkin and Captive Leia from the 90s POTF line.
Really my passion for Star Wars died in 99. I had had the toys and seen the original 3 as a kid. Read the books and comics as a teen. But man the 3 prequels were so bad I haven't bothered seeing anything since Force Awakens.

I learned as a kid how much higher stuff was in Canada since most comics had a US and Canadian cover price listed.

That's just the slow pricing creep for everything. At least everything Hasbro.

Yep, generally 3 3/4"-4" figures have been $10 or so for a couple or four or five years, 6-inchers are often $20 at retail.

Outside of a few Super Hero Squad and Imaginext figures. Saw some 20 buck each Mcfarlance GoT figures. They looked nice but i bet suffer from the thing that has plagued Mcfarlane since the start ,the figures fall apart easy.

Picked up a few last week. Massively reduced in price, plus I got a further discount when I took them to the till.

For what I’ve noticed what were basic 3 3/4” figures seven or eight years ago (and cost about $9 in Canada) are now the Black Series and cost twice as much, and the basic 3 3/4” figures now are lower quality (no elbow or knee articulation) and cost $9.
