I've always thought that anyone who doesn't get along with The Rock has to be a prick. I think because the face the dude is so wholesome, it is hard not to get along with him other than jealousy. Diesel is mad Rock basically came in and took his franchise because he saved it while Tyrese is mad Rock is too busy to put money in his pocket instead of actually going to do other roles and make money

Even with the HHH/HBK jealousy factor, him and HHH still had great chemistry

I've always thought that anyone who doesn't get along with The Rock has to be a prick. I would typically disagree with a statement like that, as I think everyone in the world has a dark side and some just hide it better than others, but even The Rock's ex wife still loves him.

I could see someone that doesn't know The Rock could think he is a bit of a tough guy, douche..... but after meeting him, I would have to believe that attitude changes quickly. Obviously, I've never met him, but he just seems like the kind of guy that EVERYONE would like.

It helps the fact that he is the same dude before and after he became a big time star Still down to earth and never letting the fame get to his head which is saying something. Wrestling fans were mad when that time period he didn't want to be known as The Rock, he wanted to be known as his real name but that was business in him trying to establish himself and not be typecast. In the end, it all worked out

I don't know why they divorced, but his ex and him are still best friends and business partners. I think she's still his agent, too.
Some people I guess just work better as friends than lovers.

Who could possibly hate the Rock? I have a distrust of people who claim to hate Rock. Nobody has a bad word to say about him except Vin Diesel and Tyrese, and their motivations are based entirely on their wallets, while Rock himself comes across like a buff, Samoan Mr. Rogers. If he has a dark side he must be doing some KGB-level shit to make people who know about it disappear.

He's been open about his depression in the past and I think just the way he lives his life now with staying busy, he is probably the epitome of staying so busy you never really let shit get you down. Add on the fact he just got married and his oldest daughter is making her own moves for her career, just a lot of stuff to be happy about in his life

Tyrese better shut up because Rikishi isn't going to tolerate much more of this.

Rock is someone I've always suspected was very much like Robin Williams in that he always seems so outgoing and vibrant, but there's some sad shit under the surface. A lot of people for some reason are just distrusting of those who keep their sadness and anger private, because most folks wear it more on their sleeve. It's not Dwayne Johnson's responsibility to make his demons public, though. If all he puts out there is the best version of himself who treats others with kindness, that's all that should matter.

The series should've ended with "Furious 7" given that was the perfect storyline closure for the characters in general. They're exciting, ridiculous, and old school action affairs that doesn't take itself seriously. I'd rather they focus on the expanding universe of "Hobbs and Shaw" if I am completely honest here. I think the proof of that is that other than Hobbs and Shaw themselves, nothing else from F&F was used. No other characters or gimmicks or anything from that franchise was used or indeed needed to make Hobbs & Shaw entertaining.

Most problems Rock faces with others is due to jealousy. Even in the wrestling business. Yea, the craziest stuff on his name is him taking liberties with Mick during their Rumble match in which he went over the number of chair shots he was supposed to. I think Mick said he apologized after he found out Mick was mad because he didn't know or forgot the number of chair shots Other then that, you're not going to find a dude as giving as he was in the ring for someone in his position. Even with the HHH/HBK jealousy factor, him and HHH still had great chemistry Mick's issue was that Rock never came to check on him after the match, despite just about everyone else dropping by to make sure he was alright. Mick put a lot of that resentment on himself for not just confronting him, but he'd been under the impression he could maybe have one last feud with Rock, and didn't want to toss out that fuel prematurely, a reason he freely admitted was idiotic. For Rock's part, he apparently was immediately apologetic and said he had no memory of after that match, which gels with Rock saying he was terrified during his first top run because he was so young and being pushed so hard, and waiting for the other shoe to drop. Wouldn't shock me if pretty much everything after the first chairshot was practically autopilot for him, which has to be terrifying in its own right, to know that you have the capacity for that kind of brutality in you. Still, the gist is basically right. Rock didn't fight Mick on it and immediately took the blame when Mick told him, and Foley forgave him after and buried the hatchet.

Yea, figured it had to be something to that effect That whole thing was f***ed from jump when you consider Mick's kids was in the audience for that. But yeah, that is the real only negative you heard on his name Only other thing I can think of is Jericho and Bully Ray saying they had a match, think it was a tag team match and they said some spot to The Rock and Rock said, "The Rock doesn't do that" and they looked at him funny. I think the spot was supposed to be something like they (Dudley Boys) trip up Rock when he was in the ring and Rock was like nah that doesn't fit my character which is one of the only times i've heard anyone say Rock said no to anything
