time to update the list with... afrikka bambatta - planet rock www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-elzq4IaOkbest oldschool late 70's early 80's vid out there. and from now on the videos I post will be prodominatly from the 90's and up. Also this is the best representation I think of what hip hop was when it first started. The crazy costumes, the break dancing, and guy dancing with a lazer light show in the backround, everything.

ok number three, and the last vid I post tonight. you see number three is like this and like that and like this and uh it's like that and like this and like that and uh it's like this www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuJjOwb5LUQdr. dre and snoop dogg - aint nothing but a g-thang. if you don't know this song, if you don't know the video, and it looks foreign to you, you were not born before the year 2000. this is probably the most memorable video from the 90's in my humble opinion. it's just classic. this was one of those videos that became a main focal point in music culture in general. I mean, it's nothing but a g-thang for christ's sake!

Good list, thwak, I'm sorry I wouldn't have started mine until I saw you finished yours. I hope they are different enough because I don't want to steal your thunder. This is a great thread.

no problem, I'm just a douche. anyway number 2 is.... various artists - the anthem www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hk8gsRk4Qm4now alot of you are probably going "wha?" just trust me on this one. the best overlooked video in my humble opinion. just the premise alone is nice, add to the fact that they have almost every single great rapper from the late 90's with in the video makes it even more nice.

also to make this thread go longer I'm gonna post some videos that I like that didn't make the cut. these shall be called honorable mentions I guess. Sean Price - Boom Bye Yeah www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0Z4kKI4DUsany video that starts out with, "THIS SUMMER. THERE IS ONE MAN. WHO WILL STAND BETWEEN TEN THOUSAND SCARED WHITE PEOPLE IN DEATH." you know it's gonna be good. the rest of the video is sean price rapping, while showing images of white people getting hurt in various ways. one of the most utterly ignorant, yet hilarious videos I've ever seen. gza - shadowboxing/4th chamber www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCX3MsaW-9Yas far as I know this is the only video to feature a fullscale war scene. no not stock fotoage, I mean A FULL DAMN SCALE WAR SCENE WITH HIRED ACTORS, FLAGS, EVERYTHING! nas - if I ruled the world www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMn2cCBwH18I just like the scene with nas and lauren hill going through the city with all the lights lit up on to them.

The Nuthin But A G'Thang video was (and is) in my opinion, the best rap song and video ever. The hook is one of the simlest, and most memorable in rap. Great # 1 too. Wu Tang is for the children!
