Yeah, I think I passed it yesterday...but man, I was a whimpering tapped out man.
I think cutting out the sodas is gonna be the worst part...well outside of feeling the stone pass through you.

The only things I could think that would be as bad or worse is child birth or a gunshot to the knees.

My favorite has been the 2 week hospital stays or having one the size of a small bird egg removed from the back(the other 2 ways werent possible).

What about sitting in a tank of water while they aim sound waves at your backside to break up the stones while they are still inside your kidneys?
Some people think "Wow, that's cool!" It really isn't. it just means you have to pee out more stones.

I had a nurse in the hospital say that to me with my first stone. for some reason it wasn't very comforting at the time.lol

My doc says all mine are just big enough to be excruciating without being big enough for the insurance to pay for their removal.

My doc says all mine are just big enough to be excruciating without being big enough for the insurance to pay for their removal. And that makes it even more excruciating, doesn't it?

Geez, after reading the rest of this thread...I must declare myself a wuss for some of the stuff you guys have to go through. This is my second stone and both times the medication got rid of it because the stones aren't as big.
Not saying the pain wasn't bad...oh it is...but I'm having a cakewalk compared to some of you.

My doc says all mine are just big enough to be excruciating without being big enough for the insurance to pay for their removal. Ive been getting them since 2000 seems the doctor when called, calls the pharmacy and loads a script with painkillers and sometimes tequin. i eat what i'm supposed to, to avoid getting them but there not fooled. anyone else ever get sent home with that stupid basket to catch it in?
