I enjoy a good stand up set. Usually cheers me up when things are in the slumps.
I enjoy guys like Chappelle thought sometimes, there's only so much socio political/Racism/Religion is stupid that I can handle. I've noticed that most of them are pretty angry, or have some messed up issues they're dealing with, and it makes their routine very political and sometimes I just don't want to deal with that.
Who do you recommend that's relatively clean and light hearted and doesn't get that political.
So far I've just recently checked out
Gabriel Iglesias (who I've heard of but never actually watched until I stumbled across his netflix sitcom and the comments section on facebook were suprisingly positive towards him).
John Mulaney (I don't know why, but he popped up on my suggested titles years ago and I added to my list for some reason but I finally decided to watch it and it was fun).
Whitney Cummings (who I found out about from Chelsea Handler's show, but I like her way more than Chelsea since she doesn't come off as much of an angry left wing stereotype who for some reason loves fat children and goes on about how much she loves gays but then constantly makes jokes about dudes who should come out of the closet and talking about Wendy Williams and Tyra Banks look like men").
Amy Schumer who I've heard a lot of about due to her movies. She was alright. Her and Chelsea really love to play the "I'm jewish" card.
Kevin James (who I usually like but then the last one steered off into "what happened to real men" territory when he started getting angry about Gluten and Lactose intolerance).
Speaking of which, I used to love Christopher Titus. As his stuff used to be about his dysfunctional family. Then the last one I saw broke into the above "what happened to Men?" thing as well.
