Who wins this kayfabe toughest ever KOTR bracket?

With King of the Ring coming up, I took 16 wrestlers I thought were the 16 toughest to beat, possibly, in history and then put them in a list randomiser and I came up with this. They would all be in their most unbeatable primes here.

A few didn't make the cut- Kane of 97/98, Kurt Angle, Orton, Dusty etc.

Their placements in the brackets are totally random. If I had my way Austin would have an easier bracket as I would want him to win but alas he is facing Warrior in the first round. Nothing to do with his personal views but Warrior is possibly my least favourite ever, as I hated his goofy dancing and no selling and immobility. Always hated him, but I guess in kayfabe he beats Stone Cold.

So I have Undertaker beating Sting, Hart beating Triple H, Goldberg obviously beats Macho, Sammartino beats Batista

Then on the other side I have Lesnar beating Rock, Hogan beating Cena, Andre beating Flair, and dammit Austin hits Warrior with a stunner.

The next round Undertaker beats Hart, Goldberg beats Sammartino, prime Hogan beats Lesnar, prime Andre beats Austin.

In the semis, I have prime Goldberg beating Undertaker. Prime Hogan beats Andre.

The final is between Goldberg and Hogan according to how I see it. Prime Hulk wins, probably.

How do you see it?

I'm going to use the questionable kayfabe logic that some of these can't do multiple big matches in one night.

So Cena, he has the stamina, is build to overcome odds and doesn't mind stooping low.

I'd put both Triple H and Steve Austin into consideration because of the 3 stages of hell match in 2001.

Seems like I've been paid by the WWE to say Triple H

His smarts, learned from The Game, would help him bring home the bacon.

Warrior only did three jobs his entire career. Rude (WM V), Slaughter (Rumble 91), and then Hogan during his short WCW run at Halloween Havoc 98. None of them were clean as all three had outside interference that caused him to lose.

As far as who would win I would rule out Sting, Triple H, Hart, Rock, and Flair right off the bat. All were booked strong to degrees but all did their share of jobs in big matches even in their primes and weren't nowhere near as protected as the other guys on the list.

Austin, Cena, Batista, Lesnar, and Savage would be the next batch I would rule out. All super hard to beat in their prime years (Savage 88, Austin 98, Cena 05, Batista 05, Lesnar during his recent run last few years), Cena and Lesnar probably a little more then the other other three, but not unbeatable.

That leaves Undertaker, Hogan, Warrior, Goldberg, Bruno, and Andre. This is where it starts to get tricky as all of these were almost next to impossible to pin in their peaks. I think the endurance factor costs Warrior, Goldberg, and Andre and causes them all to get eliminated in the second and third rounds. I could also see Warrior being very prone to disqualification due to how out of control he could be.

I haven't seen much of Bruno but the fact that he held the title 8 years obviously shows that he was super hard to beat. Hogan 84-89 and babyface 92-94 Undertaker were both ridiculously hard to beat as each only one had pinfall during those entire stretches (Hogan to Andre via a paid off twin referee that ignored his shoulder being up on the pin and Taker to Mabel at KOTR 95 via interference) but both would get counted and disqualified a decent bit which I could see happening for both of them here. Therefore I would give it to Bruno. Wrestled a lot of long matches so he has the endurance, strong enough to go hold his own with a lot of the big heavy hitters in the tournament, and unlike a lot of the other favorites I don't think he would be as prone to get himself counted out or disqualified.

Outstanding kayfabe breakdown. I agree with those tiers. Even from a kayfabe perspective, this could be a very disappointing tournament with lots of DQ and Countout finishes. Could have a lot of Double DQs and Countouts as well.

If they had clean endings then Warrior I guess but you have to factor in if there was a story! Like if Vince was trying to screw over Austin and messed it up got Scott Hall to accidentally Taser the Warrior or something haha. Or if HHH had HBK backing him up and interfering to cost Bret or nWo f***ing with Goldberg and getting Nick Patrick to DQ him or something!

Also the insane star power of those FIRST ROUND matches is hilarious. Imagine Cena vs Hogan in a 6 minute match in the middle of Smackdown. Fun thread.

Andre pinned Warrior clean once by just sitting on him. It used to be on YouTube. With all the stories of those two I like to pretend it was a shoot!

And Macho Man did it in 88, he can do it in this.

I think 2014-2018 Lesnar would beat 02-04 Lesnar. What say you?

Guy was (still is really) booked so strongly that I loved it as I hadn't seen booking like it for a long time. Royal rumble 2015 he gets up relatively quickly after three AA's.
