Kacy stood out with her short stature and had a great showing at last year's Mae Young Classic and Royal Rumble with her big spots from the hand stand balance and the ddt on Rhea Ripley.

Terrible news if true. She had tons and tons of potential and was already doing stuff that no one else is doing. I want her to do what’s best for her, but selfishly I’d like to see her back in a ring once she gets her situation settled.
But yeah. If she thinks this is for the best, good on her. Seems like a lovely person too.

That's a shame. I actually wanted a match between her and Zelina, but if Catanzaro's spine is really that bad off, then I respect her decision to leave and still be able to walk for years to come.

Oh no! She had so much potential, could've been a great babyface for them. More than anything, I'm wishing her well in her health. I hope she'll keep doing the reaction videos at least.

For real? She seemed like she was having so much fun.
I mean...I don’t know for sure. Just going off of surface level social media stuff. But wow.

No!
But, if her back's f***ed, it's best to not mess around with that and just call it a career.

She just reposted a (pretty darn impressive) clip of her hot-tagging into the ring against the Horsewomen, and her IG story looks like her and Lacey Lane at a gym.
I hope dude got some bad info... I love what Kacy brings and would be so sad to see her walk away.

Yes, that's what I saw. That's why I'm looking for real sources. That link he posted doesn't even go anywhere. Casey has been one of the most reliable sources out there for years, and has finally started to gain a solid reputation in the past year or so. Checks his sources and waits to report any news. The link was to his site which crashed (I’m guessing too much traffic in a short time). A real shame, but I’m not even that surprised. Her background made her incredibly exciting to watch, but she was so tiny. One of the smallest girls they’ve ever had. She was working a lot with the bigger girls who could provide a good base for her gymnastics, but that meant she was getting slammed HARD all the time. I figured she wasn’t going to be in this for the long term, just a shame we saw so little of her.

I don’t know what it means, but she did within the last half hour repost a clip of her wrestling on Instagram.

She's adorable and incredibly athletic, but there's no way her body can take the abuse of wrestling. She's smaller than Alexa Bliss and AJ Lee, who have both had plenty of injury problems of their own.

🥺😐😔 One of my new favorites. I totally understand her decision, don’t want to mess around with back injuries.
Best of luck on anything you decide to do in the future Kacy!

Kacy is a damn good talent and I've liked her a lot since her American Ninja Warrior days, especially since she's from New Jersey. Really hope that it isn't true and her physical health isn't on the skids because I think she could've been a huge face on the main roster combined with some crossover appeal from Ninja Warrior fans.
But if it is true and she has to call it a career, I wish her nothing but the best.

Damn that sucks, she looked like a natural from what I've seen and she's an utter babe but if her spine is jacked up then I'd rather her retire and still be able to walk.

I'll wait til I see it from an official source. We heard similar rumblings when Sheamus took time off, and he still came back for a significant amount of time.

Not surprising. She was already in peak physical shape before coming to WWE, so there was nothing extra she could have done to prepare her body. Her frame is just so small to be bumping like that, and you know she was taking sick bumps because she never half-asses anything. I'm glad she chose to step away before doing further damage to her spine.

The news of her and Kylie Rae in the same week really sucks. Both had something special.

I wonder if Andrew Luck retiring from football at 29 will have a ripple effect in wrestling

I wonder if Andrew Luck retiring from football at 29 will have a ripple effect in wrestling I don't think so It's not really a one to one comparison but their is similarities. Physical and mental toll of the season/travel and then the repeated injuries testing you. However, Luck was able to make this decision because he can live for the rest of his life comfortably with the money he made and the correlation of football and suffering more as you get older is out there. He got out before he really did further damage to his long term health For wrestling, more often then not, it has to be close to career ending injuries for people to quit. Hell, Luck is the biggest name to go away from the game at this age but we have been seeing this movement over the last few seasons

If true, that's a shame. I really liked what I saw from Kacy and she had a ton of potential.
