Wow. The ref’s tweets say he’s unable to work his primary job for the moment as well, so Samuels and Bodom just made themselves look like complete knobs AND exposed themselves and the promotion to considerable legal jeopardy because they wanted more time on a match they were going to lose anyways. Unbelievable.

Jokes aside, this is vile. I hope very much that the ref's injuries prove to be not as serious as first believed, and those wrestlers have no business in wrestling. This is even worse than when Cryme Tyme got in deep shit for doing their finisher on a ref without warning or permission.

If it is a work, it's really lame, because it exposes the business for no reason.
If the guys really beat the guy up for counting three when they didn't kick out, it's honestly their fault. Refs are instructed to call it like a shoot, and if someone doesn't kick out, it's the fault of the wrestler, not the ref, who is supposed to look like an actual referee for their worked match.

Andy basically said he looked at the footage and only saw the slam but crowds have said Bodom basically kicked him afterwards.
The response, to me, more comes off like he had to say something because people were calling him out on letting them get away with it rather than setting up a work of some kind.

It's taken a lot for him to come out and say something due to a worry of not being believed and "the boys" closing up ranks and denying it. Andy Quildan saying the slam looks fine is laughable. If you see a photo there is no protection given, coupled with Josh Bodom giving boots to him on the floor afterwards. The situation is deplorable. |

Hadn't even been paid for last weekends show until yesterday and had given them ample opportunity to sort that out. As Steveweiser says they are trying to cover it up. |
