At this point, I wonder if Probst will take this tribal off, and have Chris Hansen take his place and instruct Dan to "have a seat right over there."

you know what? I never really ever rooted for her typecast but I kinda want Janet to win this game.

can someone sum up Jamal's visit to island of the idols? I had to miss due to helping my mom out.

can someone sum up Jamal's visit to island of the idols? I had to miss due to helping my mom out. The note read that Jamal lost his vote at the next Tribal Council. The lesson Rob said was sabotage. They then handed Jamal a blank piece of paper and a pencil and challenged him to sabotage someone else's game. He used the paper to create a fake Legacy Advantage and gave it to Dean. But I don't think the others brought it.

Damn, two of the season’s best characters are out just like that.
I have a LOT of thoughts on what went down this episode. I’ve been dreading a Tommy win because it seems too predictable and he’s so boring, but it seems like an inevitability now.

This should go without saying, but it’s horrible to have all this talk of women’s empowerment throughout the season, then have an episode like this that’s all about discrediting women when they speak up about sexual harassment, broadcast on the network that’s been publicly dealing with the exact same thing for the past year.
Consider me #TeamJanet going forward.

I think I'm checking out. That episode was gross. The more Dan talked and tried to explain it off after begging to let it go repeatedly, the more I felt my stomach turn. Then you had scum like Missy who used it to advance in a stupid game.

I thought he would just erase someone else's vote, then he did this bullshit advantage and I was like "ooooh......" Also, they use pen at tribal 🤷

I'm trying to come up with a way that Jamal wouldn't have been screwed with that 'test', I mean he was already on the bottom 3 and the biggest threat among those 3 to win the game arguably. If he DIDN'T come back with an idol from the island of the idols, he would have been going home no matter what. To have him lose his vote on top of no shot at all to get an idol is new kinds of Angry Survivor God karma that I don't think I've seen in all the seasons I've watched this show.
I'm trying to think of a time when the Island of the Idols actually worked out for anybody that's still in the game-- maybe just Elizabeth? Who didn't even win her gamble just learned how to make fire after getting beat by Rob and losing her vote.
The stuff with Dan was, if nothing else, pretty entertaining especially when Dan got worked up and challenged Jeff's authority at tribal. I like how when he was backed in a corner, Dan was able to decently explain who he is (married, with kids, in the entertainment industry and deals with a lot of gender equality issues obviously on a daily basis, but how he was brought up/how he acts in normal society just makes him a naturally-touchy-feely guy who probably needs to be spoken to honestly like JAMAL did at tribal about how women can be victimized even without the culprit being aware). Missy and Liz not being able to admit what they did with pulling in Janet for the Dan vote, only to use it as a smokescreen to blindside Kellee (btw great move) takes them out of the running a bit with me. Have the balls to admit your gameplay because if you make a big move like that, and don't own up to it by the time Final Tribal rolls around nobody will give you any respect for it.
I did enjoy Missy's facials during tribal with how she wanted to say something but couldn't since she had already pretended to be 'cool' with touchy-Dan's nighttime cuddling. She was probably realizing that everyone at home would find her gameplay tactic disgusting as a self-professed Alpha Female to sweep Dan's personal space violations under the rug in such a shamelessly-self-serving way.

That was a precision strike by Kellee. She took out her target and completely kept her hands clean. Well done. Jamal asking Noura 'who was Fredo?!' and her pointing to Kellee was the moment Kellee's game was killed. Nobody thought Kellee was a threat until that point, you have to be careful the allies you trust. I mean Noura wasn't even gonna be targetted after the blindside so the smart move for her would've been to lie and say "oh, it was Timmy" or someone else who's a huge threat and stay loyal to the person you MADE A HUGE MOVE WITH. Noura isn't playing to win, but I fault Kellee for not coaching Noura more on what to do post-vote. Why do the players that can find multiple idols in a day like Kellee and Russel Hantz have to have such major flaws in judgement that bite them in the ass? lol it's hard to be a Perfect Survivor contestant, it would seem

With the exception of Varner outing Zeke, this last episode was by far the most controversy Survivor has generated in years. Dan absolutely should've been expelled and screw production for keeping him in there just because they wanted to deliver drama or a teachable moment or some shit. Missy, Aaron, Tommy, Elizabeth, and Lauren have all given apologies on social media. Aaron's is the most genuine of the bunch, but the rest of them keep saying they didn't know the true extent of situation.
Um, production sat down with each of you about the situation, in addition to a lengthy talk at Tribal Council. How could any of you not have known? You valued winning the game more than someone's personal safety. Fess up.

"No see, it's brilliant to use sexual harassment to your advantage IN THE GAME."
