The absolute state of bitchboy Jim makes me want to buy a million of these shirts and throw as much money as I can at deathmatch promotions for the rest of my life. Like, I think I genuinely prefer Russo. Also semi-related but god I wish G-Raver would retire. Like, legit every month or two I see people sending him condolences after something went wrong and like he's quickly becoming the most likely person to die in the ring this year or next. Does Russo also have a legion of social media warriors that harass his targets? If not, I'm inclined to agree.
...On that note, does Russo have any actual fans?
Russo has a patreon with roughly 145 people. 145 people actually pay him for more content. It boggles my mind. I listened to his podcast when it was first came out on westwood one and it was truly awful. Like old Howard Stern without the talent. But back to Jim, I think Captain Money Made summed up my feelings fairly well. I get Jim is passionate about his business. He's a fan and a worker, but he's at a point where he seems like the old man yelling at a cloud. Doesn't change that both guys seem in the wrong here.

Yes he did lol. He literally said that he wished the show would have stopped so everyone could watch him bleed out. It’s not the first time he’s wished death on a wrestler either I remember a few years ago when he compared Kota Ibushi to Hitler and said he should die. Unrelated but my favorite Ibushi story is when he tried high five Vince McMahon backstage at NXT because he had no idea who Vince was. Imagine a similar interaction with Ibushi and Cornette? That would be hilarious. Not Kota Ibushi it was Kenny Omega. He crossed a line there, I hate omega but that was uncalled for.

If you’re gonna mock Cornette at least be more creative, that shirt is cringeworthy and I wouldn’t wear it in public. My first thought was “you literally cannot wear that anywhere but a wrestling show”, and even there you’d have parents giving you dirty looks and fans taking issue.

Some of you are reaching "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE" territory with this guy.
He acts like a turd, people are going to call him one (not in this specific situation, but do you really need the list?)
It shouldn't bother him at all if he read it, he's super duper thick skinned. Apparently.

Like, I'd imagine a cartoon drawing of Corny with an exaggerated underbite, waving a broken tennis racket, his pants falling down, telling kids to get off his lawn the Young Bucks suck. Not... Gorefest 2019.

Jim Cornette can't hack it in the actual wrestling business anymore because he stopped evolving in the 70s, and has maintained what little bit of fame he has by talking shit about everyone and graphically wishing death on people because he doesn't like the way they fake fight.
But one of the guys he did that to puts a drawing of Cornette having done to him what Cornette has wished on so many others, and Corny wants to cry foul?
What a thin-skinned little hypocritical bitch Jim Cornette is.
Then again, he's the same guy who preaches "funny don't make money" after spending his entire career in front of the camera as a comedy act, so he's clearly been an idiot for a long time. Also the same guy who bitches about people exposing the business in every one of his 4,373,830,474,264 business-exposing shoot interviews.
Go away, Cornette. You suck.

Pretty sure he can get away with that because it doesn't explicity say "Vince Russo". I'm not a law expert or anything, though. I think the shirt is pretty tacky no matter what name is on it. I can't imagine being a grown ass adult wearing that and feeling okay with yourself. I'm always going to be a Cornette fan, I guess. Maybe it would be easier to dislike him if any of the wrestlers who have a big problem with him weren't the dirt f***ing worst. Omega ,Batisra are the dirt f***ing worst? Do tell why. at this point it is harder to find wrestler speaking good things about Cornette Omega is a great wrestler, but Cornette is dead-on about his mannerisms in the ring (In my opinion, of course). And Did you mean Batista? I didn't know Cornette had a problem with him. Again, just my opinion, but Santino, Callahan, Janela and Joey Ryan would be some more guys that Cornette is right about. It probably would be difficult to find a lot of modern wrestlers who like Cornette. As someone who thinks a lot of modern wrestling is awful, I can understand why. There are wrestlers I think Cornette is a little unfair on. Chuck Taylor would be an example. The grenade spot was stupid, but Chuck Taylor is a rare breed in the sense that he's genuinely funny and a good wrestler. I'm usually the first person to jump to Cornette's defense, so I guess my bias shows. I've seen the man at multiple shows and he's always extremely polite to fans. I've said it before, but I once watch some guys with a Bullet Club shirt bust his balls and he was still very friendly with them and took a picture with them. The man has strong opinions and doesn't mind sharing them, but that's his thing. I think he obviously is working a gimmick to an extent, but it obviously works. The man is one of the best heels of all-time and by the looks of it, he's still got it. Having said that, let's not lose sight of the fact that this shirt is the most cringe-inducing, try-hard thing that has been presented in a while. That's the real issue at hand. Cornette suing and having it removed should make him a hero.

Jim Cornette is many things, but stupid isn't one of them.
I think he's a carny through and through that's figured out how to stay in the limelight by picking fights. I think Cornette is in "working" mode even when he's "shooting". I think Cornette dislikes a lot of people, but really only hates Vince Russo. That's just what I think.
What I know, though, is that I'm so tired of his shtick. I don't listen to his podcasts anymore, and I don't follow him on Twitter or anywhere else. Attention gives you the opportunity to make money, and I don't want Cornette getting either, because I'm just so BORED with it. It's disingenuous, it's phony, it's tacky, and it's not even entertaining.

I know just as much as everyone else here about the situation. I run my own business, AND spent time in the wrestling business. I've watched Cornette my entire life, having grown up in southern Indiana, where I saw him in the NWA, WWE, and Smoky Mountain. Since then, I have watched him in ROH and TNA. I've also watched a bunch of his shoots and listened to his podcast. So yeah, I have a pretty good handle on Cornette. He's the biggest mark on the planet and doesn't even realize it.

Guys like Joey Janela and David Starr (ESPECIALLY David Starr) run to Twitter so fast to respond to him so fast they piss themselves. Hell, Janela is using a f***ing tennis racket on All Out. They are very gotten to, Cornette knows it, and I think he loves f***ing with them. A lot of modern wrestlers are some of the most overly sensitive people on the planet, so it's like shooting fish in a barrel for him.

Cornette suing and having it removed should make him a hero. "Hero" is a very strong word for something that is of his self interest(not that he is wrong on that) And the work "it is a gimmick/work" I also think it is a cheap excuse. You can like the guy but even if it is a gimmick he is still trying to step on other people to make his name and inciting (to put it nicely) unfriendly behaviors towards the people he doesn't like. You shouldn't be kind only to the people that appreciate you. And the Batista thing wasn't much,he said he never learned a thing under Cornette, and Cornette angrely exploded at him,it is not at the same level as this or Janela. Also dirt f***ing worst is a very extreme way of putting, it ios fine to not like then but they mostly come off as great guys too.(Janela is a tool a bunch of the times yeh,but the rest always come off as great people)

It's not like Cornette has pull anywhere that matters to blackball anyone. It's just pointless, and mean spirited. Cornette isn't in competition with AEW, and other than just being the equivalent of an internet troll being intentionally incendiary "for the lulz", I don't see what's to be gained by it beyond the aforementioned attention. Dignity has to be worth more than that.

Cornette fans are the kpop stans of the wrestling world.

I think abjordans is pretty much on the money there. For one thing among many, nothing in CMPunky's description of Cornette paints him as "hypocritical." He SAYS some nasty stuff about guys like G-Raver, but doesn't directly try to make money off G-Raver's image. That's not what G-Raver is doing here, trying to market merchandise with Cornette's exact likeness. Nothing hypocritical there--G-Raver has no right to do that and Cornette has every right to put a stop to it.
Calling Cornette's "entire" career a comedy act belies how much he really seems to know about his career as well. I don't recall many people laughing when he hit Baby Doll in the stomach with the tennis racket, or crushed Brian Pillman's surgically-repaired throat, or had his own face split open by Paul E.'s cell phone. Jim has talked very extensively and candidly about how comedy can effectively fit into wrestling. He's not against comedy, he's against silliness for its own sake.
Also: "Stan" (why is a 20-year-old song title suddenly a ubiquitous term for an obsessive fan now, anyway?) is quickly becoming one of those words like "SJW" and "cuck" and "lib/Trump-tard" that makes me want to instantly dismiss the entirety of any argument presented by anyone who uses it unironically. It's a sign that the user of the word is afraid of actual debate and just wants to paint any opposition as a mindless obsessive instead of someone with a different view.
