This is something that can't be overlooked. Sometimes it's not the WWE not letting us have nice things, it's them realizing that someone simply isn't that good. Yeah, sometimes they miss on things like Elijah Burke pitching the Pope gimmick and he actually used it on a house show I believe before he got cut. They missed the boat on that and he then goes to TNA and takes off with the gimmick Aron Rex though, they flat out told him no on this. For some reason he thought it was such a good idea he pitched it in TNA and it killed him. The dude really went from everyone saying WWE did hold him back and he deserves a chance to that machine helped create and how talented is he really? Much like the Orlando Jordan over the top bisexual gimmick, the fact that TNA thought: "Yes. This is a great idea that will make us money" tells you everything you need to know

Vince must be looking at them like listen, this isn't 99 anymore I can't do this shit. If i'm not letting Goldust come out with the wigs anymore why would I let you do this All TNA saw with that Jordan gimmick was shock value. It was so in your face, how can you ignore it

I think Mantaur could have done better. I liked the bull mask and attire. It reminded me of Vader in Japan with the smoking helmet. Taurus is pretty much what Mantaur shouldve been.

This was when he, Hogan and Bischoff were supposedly trying to work together. Secret Russo wasn't until after Hogan and Bischoff left.

He was on the payroll until like 2012 when he quit as a consultant. he was off the writing team in late 2011 though. OJ was 2010 where Russo was still the head of the writing team.

Kizarny was never going to fly after his intro vignettes. His vignettes are still the most confusing collection of clusterf***s I've ever seen. That said I remember them like 15 years later.

Rex apparently. He pitched it in WWE This is something that can't be overlooked. Sometimes it's not the WWE not letting us have nice things, it's them realizing that someone simply isn't that good. Nope. Damian Sandow was glorious. Him bombing in TNA doesn't erase that.

Him bombing in TNA doesn't erase that. It doesn't erase it, but it certainly proves that he's only good when being told exactly what to do. When left to his own devices, he sucks in every available way.

When left to his own devices, he sucks in every available way. So what though. If it were that easy everyone would be entertaining. He was, and I doubt it was just because he had amazing writers and guys like Dolph Ziggler don't.

I'm sure there are actors out there who aren't naturals and others who are. At the end of the day as a viewer I don't care how they are in set as long as it translates well on the screen.

Heenan: "I want to introduce the newest member of the Heenan Family - the third Islander, Sivi Afi!" *Sivi Afi proceeds to slap every hand on the way to the ring* Vince, in the back, probably: ...dammit... They should have had the Announcers try to sell it as a heelish move "oh my, look at that dastardly Sivi, ATTACKING those fans in the crowd!"

In TNA he was like an actor suddenly being asked to write and direct when those skills just aren't in his wheelhouse. He's very much a product of the 00s WWE developmental system, great look, can read a script, but has a hard time improvising and adapting to new styles of working. OVW, FCW and DSW were a robot factory.

If continual employment with WWE meant be there, be awful as a athlete and have no entertainment value/talent to make up for little in ring talent, than Albert should be employed for life. But if being with WWE is based on ring talent or being able to get over on the mic than Albert should have never been employed so long. When he came back as Tensai, I just saw it as horrible Albert, the same guy who was horrible several years earlier. I would put almost any of the names listed here as more talented, entertaining and deserving of long term employment than Albert.
