Rey Rey or Liger.
Though Ultimo Dragon in the 90s was pretty untouchable, as well.

The only real negative about Mysterio is that so many moves of his relies on the opponent doing most of the work.

Savage. He would regularly take to the ropes, had an iconic top rope finisher and, heel or face, knew how to get a crowd fully invested in a match.

Jericho or Malenko as dark horses I genuinely can’t remember if Malenko ever went off the top rope, and dude was one of my favourites back in the day.

All time, a tie between Savage and Liger. Today, either PAC or Ospreay.

Rey Rey or Liger. Though Ultimo Dragon in the 90s was pretty untouchable, as well. Psychology was the absolute worst part of Ultimo's game. Absolutely clueless at putting a match together.

I thought that was almost part of his genius. Literally anytime dude went in you were almost guaranteed a barnburner of spots in a pre-attitude era setting where even a moonsault was rare. He didn’t have to be good at psychology, the ring skills were enough especially when WCW had such an insane cruiserweight division.

The entire point of the thread is which high flyer was also the best psychologist. Even in a "it's his character not to be psychological" sense, give me Sabu or Jeff Hardy at their peaks over Ultimo.

Today? Maybe PAC or Ricochet. That those two and Jack Evans are still doing what they're doing, only maturing as performers, blows my mind. Im a big Ricochet guy, but nawwww... definitely PAC though

No one can touch mid-90's Ultimo Dragon as far as I'm concerned.

I absolutely love Randy Savage and Bobby Eaton. I can't stress that enough before I say what I'm about to say. Guys that did one or two top rope moves like Savage and Eaton should not be considered high Flyers. High-flyers, cruiserweights, Junior heavyweights, these are what come to mind when people say high flier. Randy Savage was the World Wrestling Federation champion in the 1980s giants era. You're telling me you consider him in the same category as a Mysterio, or Pac? I'm throwing my vote in for Mysterio. First person that popped in my mind when I read the thread title.

Liger or Mysterio. Probably depending on how globally you mean.
