For some reason WWE saw a lot more upside in him than Thrasher

I mean, you have an audience that thinks it's clever to yell HEAD. Might as well give 'em a character called Beaver Cleavage who f***s his mom; it's not like you're going to insult their intelligence. I presume Chaz's whole deal is that they wanted some sort of Tipper Gore freakout about the immorality of their domestic abuse storyline, and when that didn't happen, they didn't know what to do. Beaver Cleavage's debut match against Christian has some of the most hilarious piped in crowd noise I've ever heard so I'm happy it happened for that reason alone.

Beaver Cleavage could’ve been a decent gimmick if they didn’t abandon it.
A 50s TV show sitcom guy coming to the ring managed by his hot mom. I can see it working if they ran with it. His entrance was cool too.

I'm still laughing about the fact that they just casually gave him Mankind's logo while Mankind was already using it. It was the joe boxer logo to go with the boxers he wore.
Honestly, I don't know why they ever thought going from Headbanger to that was a good idea.

Cause McMahon hated the Beaver Cleavage gimmick. Which is funny cause Russo chose it as his hill to die on. So... Chaz is partially responsible for WCW's nosedive of quality and eventual cancellation

I'm still convinced that Vince McMahon let it get to air just to prove to Vince Russo it was a stupid idea. and somehow it turned into Russo's hill to die on instead.

I mean they interacted a shit ton, but since Russo only had limited screen time in the WWF and they didn’t do nearly as much behind the scenes stuff I can’t imagine much of it was filmed. I imagine it going like... McMahon: Goddamn, Pal! Russo: Bro? McMahon: Goddamn, Pal! Russo: Bro! McMahon: GODDAMN, PAL! Russo: BRO!

It’s impressive how up to date that game was. It came out in October 1999 and had Jericho in it, Chaz as Chaz and a couple other things that were ridiculously recent at the time

I'm surprised to hear Vince hated Beaver Cleavage. I figured he would have been all over that.

For some reason WWE saw a lot more upside in him than Thrasher Thrasher was supposed to be repackaged as a new version of Doink the Clown around this same time period with Bruce Prichard as his manager. Can't remember why Bruce said the idea was killed off. But at one point there were plans for both Headbangers to get singles pushes.
