So this dropped tonight, on tv and on online. Despite Trevorrow, I did not hate this.
“Set in the Californian wilderness, 1-year after the events of Fallen Kingdom, a family of four encounter more than they bargained for as dinosaurs turn their fun into a situation of survival.
‘Big Rock’ was written by Emily Carmichael and directed by Colin Trevorrow, with Larry Fong as the cinematographer. The short follows an all new cast consisting of André Holland (Moonlight), Natalie Martinez (Under the Dome), Melody Hurd (Fatherhood) and Pierson Salvador. Music is by Jurassic newcomer Amie Doherty.”

it's actually decent for an 8 minute thing, wonder if they'll do more.

That was pretty good for what it was. I probably liked it more than either of the Pratt films.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER}- The dinosaurs were well animated
- The ending was too "raptor gets killed via gymnastics" for me
- That dumb kid's decision in FK to release the dinosaurs was incredibly stupid

I know, I know, suspension of disbelief. But you mean to tell me the military wouldn't have hunted down those 20 dinosaurs that escaped the second one person was killed?

I know, I know, suspension of disbelief. But you mean to tell me the military wouldn't have hunted down those 20 dinosaurs that escaped the second one person was killed? Yeah. That keeps bothering me. And I know it’ll probably be hand waved away with some throw away line or two in the next flick but it still bothers me. Think they could of gotten to the “Dino’s on land” point a lot more reasonably.

I know, I know, suspension of disbelief. But you mean to tell me the military wouldn't have hunted down those 20 dinosaurs that escaped the second one person was killed? Seriously. The authorities don't f*** around when it comes to dangerous animals on the loose. If a gator kills a kid in Florida on Monday afternoon, by Tuesday morning it has half the state looking for it and by supper time it's been turned into a handbag and matching boots. I'm not buying the idea that - according to the supplemental material - almost a hundred dinosaurs escape into the wild, including several dozen of varying species that are known to have eaten humans at this point, and the U.S. government just go "Yeah, it's fine, let 'em roam."

When JW3 comes out, there needs to be a tie in with AEW. Luchasaurus and Jungle boy, come on now.
