I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of Seth these days but he killed it tonight. Dude looked and acted more than adequately scared of the Fiend and even Bray, when you watch his mannerisms.
I was actually scared for the dude!

That last bit kicked ass. Fiend approaching a horrified Seth before cutting to the creepy version of the Funhouse theme song. Neat stuff.

If they keep this up with Seth and if they have him lose at HIAC then we could have something. I really hope they don't have him ruin the gimmick. Have everyone lean into the gimmick and it'll work.

If they keep this up with Seth and if they have him lose at HIAC then we could have something. I really hope they don't have him ruin the gimmick. Have everyone lean into the gimmick and it'll work. Agreed. I'd personally have Seth lose in basically a squash and have him so scared he doesn't even acknowledge any of it happened. Eventually once the fiend gets more to it and can afford a loss, have Seth go full on IT & basically compete with the guy. |

Yeah it was cool. Won't matter if he ends up winning at HIAC, which he shouldn't, though. I still don't have confidence they're gonna drop the belt to The Fiend this early, but I also don't believe Seth's winning either, I don't think Vince is THAT STUPID where The Fiend inevitably looks bad here ...Ok yes he is, but I don't think with the way things are going that Fiend outright loses, or it'll be Taven beating Scrull levels of bad. They can't afford to mess this up. |

Fiend really can't lose here. Hell in a Cell is a notorious PPV for screwy finishes, last years Main Event was a no contest and that was inside the cell. If ultimately the plan isn't to give The Fiend a title, then they need to have something incredibly screwy happen, and I really am dreading that making The Fiend look bad too... Seth doesn't need this belt, or the win frankly. I just hope this is a case where WWE does something correct. Cause I'm being honest here, if they screw up The Fiend, I think they're gonna lose another chunk of fans. |

If this were done properly, they'd look at how the Undertaker got over about 30 years ago, and Kane about 20, then use that as basic a basic blueprint.
So... yeah, Rollins is probably winning. I'm not saying the Fiend has to straight steamroll Rollins, but if they're going to keep the heat on the Fiend, he's going to have to beat a valiant "Never Say Die" Seth into a pulp after a grueling match.

Between Kane coming to Seth's rescue, the Fiend's attack, and that moment with Seth leading into the distorted version of the Firefly Fun House music, yeah, that was a lot of fun. Thought last night was well done too with Fiend's attack, and Seth's voice sounding kinda hoarse when he promo'd tonight.
