Obviously still feeling the sting, but I do think this week was a step in the right direction, showing some talent we hadn't seen in a while, like Rusev and AOP. This could combat stagnation some, which I think has been WWE's biggest problem with ratings. When you miss a Raw or Smackdown, you rarely really *miss* much, as it is.
Now, whether or not they keep using people, or if it's just because the draft will be coming up and they want to get them on camera before moving them around, we'll see, but they'll pretty much have to use more people once the wildcard is dead for good.
I wonder if anyone will go to NXT, by virtue of neither branding going for them, or if NXT is given any draft picks, possibly in exchange for "trading" Gargano or whoever.

The rating last week was surprisingly low, especially with Austin being on the show.

It was probably helped by Browns vs Jets being so one-sided. And being the aftermath show after a PPV.

Not surprising, it went vs Jets/Browns(a game featuring 2 jabronie teams) and also the Fiend being involved in the show.

Yeah and for what it's worth the show last year did 400,000 viewers more. Let's revisit this come November or so when the ratings really tanked last year. Because come Halloween don't we get the 2nd Saudi fiasco of the year?

The rating last week was surprisingly low, especially with Austin being on the show. I think it's obvious people would rather watch Lacey teach Nasties a lesson then some nostalgia act bury the current roster

Not surprising, it went vs Jets/Browns(a game featuring 2 jabronie teams) and also the Fiend being involved in the show. I turned on the game for about 30 min last night before I went “Why the f*** am I watching Jets/Browns?” and decided to finally start watching Silicon Valley. I enjoyed Silicon Valley

I've always kind of thought that once things hit a lag like they have, the rating is partially a testament to the quality of the previous weeks show. Like how Nightmare on Elm Street 4 did a big number on the box office, bur wasn't good. People didn't come to see it cause of the quality of 4. They came to see it cause of the quality of 3. Then 5 didn't do well cause of the low quality of 4.
