"I was curious about the reaction. It was one of the craziest reactions that I have ever heard. When you stand behind her and I'm getting up behind her and when I snatch her and the fans are yelling, it's almost dead quiet for a second. They couldn't believe I had done it. They popped and then booed. It was the most confusing and greatest reaction of just pure, natural excitement and hatred"
"I even had to give some stuff to our social media team because I received death threats after that; it was insane. People went way overboard, but people were like, 'I'm coming to Raw to stab you.' It was crazy. I can't remember but I called Seth Rollins a piece of shit or something. I don't know what it was, but I was so excited when I did that and the reaction was so unreal and loud that I turned around and I was mad and whatever I was feeling, it came out and it was so funny because it was totally natural. But I had to click back into the zone. It was a surreal moment that I will remember forever."

I think the way Corbin sold that might be one of the best things he's ever done. He was perfect just playing himself as just a vile, horrible sack of shit the way he was mocking Seth afterward.

He is such a good piece of shit heel, probably one of their better ones since Orton
Think his eventual face turn will be strong whenever that time comes

Everything about that moment with every performer was perfect. Corbin came off as a super slimeball and Seth got to be a superhero for a moment.

He plays his role well as a no-good piece of s*** heel who has no redeeming qualities about him and he's not a "cool heel" by any means.

This is the thing. I love Corbin. Have done since his NXT heel turn. He was the wrong choice to main event anything as the numbers and reactions show. But I have loved his work specifically throughout his atrocious booking.

Look, I'll admit I may have gotten a little carried away with the death threats.

I’m so glad he played it the way he did. So many do the whole “oh my god. What have I done” thing.
This dude was like “f*** yeah I hit your girl. Ain’t no thing to me!”

Corbin's the perfect irredeemable asshole heel used to put over other babyfaces by having them kick his ass.

Ain’t no thing to me!” I think it works for certain instances like Randy has done it both which is a good guy to emulate in that regard. When he punted Vince he looked like he shitted on himself but when he hit the RKO on Steph and kissed her he looked like the biggest asshole in the world Speaks to good instincts on Corbin part to role with it and embrace it

I think that moment really made Corbin for me.

That's some old-school heel heat.
Corbin may have been getting overbooked, but he's been one of my guys ever since his match against Joe in NXT. The man knows what he's supposed to do as a heel.

I still think it was counter productive as a whole

He gets being a heel and will do a great job as King of the Ring. WWE did him no favors by giving him multiple segments per show and a main event push when he hadn’t built any credibility towards one. The KOTR win and letting him go over in a couple of programs will help him immensely.

See also Corbin's inexplicably awesome match with Kalisto.

Hey, remember that Corbin/Dempsey match which was No DQ where the only weapon that was brought in was a chair but that got deflected leading to the finish?
No real reason, this just felt like the only true place to bring that match up.
