Can Starrcade just be the December PPV? TLC's worn out its welcome as a gimmick PPV when they barely even do any TLC matches on it and WWE and WCW are basically the same thing now.

But Arn won't be there to hit a Spinebuster...

This one hour thing is dumb, just make it it's own PPV in December.
Hell if I recall correctly a few years ago when they did it they didn't even show the cool stuff that happened since it was only an hour.

Yeah, it was Ambrose vs. Rollins cage match that was not televised. If I remember correctly, it was reported to be at least decent, when all their other matches were hideous...

It was so bad. I went live. Everyone moved at half speed. The matches were short and formulaic. Ambrose was the only one trying and probably because we were in Cincy.

Glad I went to the one in Greensboro two years ago, because this one hour shit sounds awful. Didn’t even attempt to watch last year’s Starrcade on the Network after all the crappy reviews I saw.

They've announced a card. www.infiniteenergycenter.com/events/detail/wweA portion of the show will be airing live this year, so something. ... I am seriously baffled why they don't just run the whole of these stupid things if they're going to do them anyway.

sounds interesting, but yeah, they'll probably pick the worst options to air for the network broadcast heh.

While I'm glad to see the name active, Starrcade reduced to a one-hour show streamed only on the Network is still one of the biggest dunks on WCW legacy that WWE have managed.
Imagine WCW won the war, and WrestleMania was the new name for WCW Saturday Night.
I'd love both this and Halloween Havoc to be PPV entities in WWE, but yeah, another company's history and all that. Crying shame.

Between Arn Anderson and the Rock and Roll Express doing AEW stuff right now, do they have anyone to drag out to have some sort of relevance to Starrcade, besides possibly dragging out Flair yet again?

time for this years instalment of “use an old WCW ppv name for a glorified house show so the trademark doesn’t expire and end up with Cody”

What the f*** did Miz do to earn a Universal title shot? And why is it in a cage?

sounds interesting, but yeah, they'll probably pick the worst options to air for the network broadcast heh. They’re televising: - Fiend/Miz - Becky/Charlotte vs Kabuki Warriors - Roman/Corbin - Rollins/Orton.

What the f*** did Miz do to earn a Universal title shot? And why is it in a cage? For some reason all of the WWE Starrcade main events have been cage matches. I'm not ruling out the possibility that Vince is only aware of Starrcade 83 and 87.
