Big day of rugby.
England just scored a try and lead 7-3 against Australia and I fancy them to go on and win this by about 10-15 points.
Ireland have the ominous task of facing the All-Blacks afterwards.

Wow England over again. 12-3 with kick to come. What a few minutes for the English.

This has turned into a bit of a mauling now. England showing how well they can play.

We have beaten New Zealand twice in our last three games but can we do it when it REALLY counts. Probably not. π€·ββοΈ

England looked great and they are going to have to be this good to have a chance of beating New Zealand who by all accounts battered Ireland today.

Semi finals start tomorrow England v New Zealand then South Africa v Wales on Sunday. England v Wales final would be immense but unlikely.

With the exception of that one line out they lost, England barely put a foot wrong in that first half and deserve their lead.

That line-out f***-up that gifted the All Blacks a try aside, England played a perfect game there. Itoje and Underhill were immovable.

New Zealand just can't deal with England in World Cups this year.

16 years ago I missed England winning the World Cup and had to listen to the end of the game on my friends car radio.
And now...itβs likely I will be stuck at work again. Hopefully itβs an omen for England at least. Glad to see theyβve recovered after being so poor 4 years ago.

A repeat of the final 12 years ago. Hopefully England will win this time. Would be a great achievement to beat all the Southern Hemisphere top 3 in one World Cup.

South Africa are up 25-12 at the moment, 10 minutes of regulation time away from joining New Zealand as three time world champions.
