The ways in which NJPW talent evolve is hella exciting, watching them slowly go from basic Young Lions to gradually more colorful superstars.
Sometimes I watch people come out of WWE’s performance center and I can tell the wrestlers aren’t allowed as much personal or outside development, but that’s how you get better.

Honestly, they sort of have ample opportunities to do that with the growing UK connections. You could very easily send someone to do some PROGRESS, ICW, Fight Club Pro, ATTACK shows etc since they’re consistent enough and allows them to be with a different crowd than Florida. They’d be near another performance center too so it’s not like it’s too far out from their comfort zone.

And then there’s Narita still wearing black trunks. I think that's because Narita is still technically in a dojo- He just went from the New Japan one to the LA one. Shooter meanwhile is in an actual promotion (RevPro)

Tanahashi is too cocky and full of himself to be a force of good though. Heck, heel Tanahashi = best Tanahashi

You should watch his all japan run when he sort of separated from njpw. Champion carnival and the feud with suwama. Prime level cocky tanahashi

And he didn't really feud with Suwama. They only faced each other in the finals of the CC that year. And I did watch it. 10 years ago

Shooter might be careful
With a name and motif like that he might find himself in the top of the bullet club food chain.

Narita also has a couple of European matches coming up - he takes on Brendan White at Rev Pro on November 24th, and Scotty Davis at OTT on November 30th.

Fun fact: First time a NJPW Young Lion has been on an OTT show. Probably the first time a YL has wrestled in Ireland period.
