California has passed a law called the Fair Pay to Play Act that allows student-athletes to make money off of their image and hire agents. I like the law but seems like they could of put a little more thought into it. Passing a law that suppose to stop student-athletes from being taking advantage of but allowing for sports agents to take advantage of them seems counter productive.
Does this pave the way for EA Sports to bring back the NCAA video game franchise? Because that’s really the only thing that matters to me or that I care about when it comes to college athletes making money off their likenesses.
