The Women division, give us a reason to care about it, because so far its only better than WOH. Seconded Though if they sign Shanna and Big Swole and Mercedez Martinez (Wrestled on DARK this week) that's gonna help. The one who wrestled Baker last week was good too. That's a solid new four that I'd be content with, then build them.

As much as I like the guy, I have to say: Cody needs to back off a bit. When you've got so many guys that need to really introduce themselves to the audience and establish themselves both in-ring and as characters, it doesn't help to have one guy take up so much time on the show. Cody's seemingly had at least one segment on every episode of Dynamite. He's had multiple vignettes, when most of the roster hasn't even had one. The only guy who gets more airtime than Cody is Jericho, and it at least makes sense there since he's Le Champion. For all the talk of AEW being a "vanity project" for the Elite, Cody is the only guy I see where that's really applicable. Hangman's getting into his groove, and Kenny and the Bucks seem to be in a place where they don't feel they need to be the center of attention, they just want to make money doing the thing they love and enjoy themselves. Cody seems to be the only one who's actively trying to focus the show around himself. It is ironic that Cody's taken the shots he has at Triple H because he seems to share a lot of the negative aspects of Hunter.

It could be argued that Cody is the one who started it all when he left the WWE and went off on his own. That being said, if anything, I think they need to make the Elite MORE of a big deal. I know who Kenny Omega is, and I know who the Young Bucks are. But they've not done a good job of making them specifically that important. I get wanting to make guys like SCU, Private Party, etc. big deals, but you've got to get the big stars over like big stars, too.

The biggest excuse I have for this is the fact Cody is challenging for the World Title so it makes sense he would get this spotlight However, as I said at some point in this thread, other people besides Cody should be getting video packages. It's not that hard, NXT has showcased majority of their talent in little mini packages and it gives you an idea who they are. Tonight we got a mini 45 second one on Angel Garza. He was getting over over already and this helped even more

The thing that Kenny Omega just did where he does a pose and then 3 guys take a big sudden bump simultaneously...get that local indies comedy bullshit off this show, you're on TNT and competing with WWE's most liked program.
I can tolerate the campy video game stuff since it's Halloween and sure, have a little fun, but don't push it. Moxley just cut a promo about how he's gonna basically murder you at the PPV and you're doing THAT? No way, squeegee this stuff out.

Go back to having the ramp on the "right" side of the hard camera.

I liked hikaru and the portugese girl tonight. More of those kinds of matches. Less of nyla and britt baker.
I want to see more heavyweights. Them to take the partnership with ddt to bring in guys like takeshita and endo for a tour.
I want to see them pair up with ajpw for the infusion of heavies to work with.
I want them to use more joshis. I want the aaa women like fabi apache and estrellita to come and work.
What i loved about wcw was the partnership with puro, euro, and lucha promotions seeing guys come in and work.
AEW needs to explore that
And more big dudes

I say this as a guy who likes Triple H: Cody gets away with it because he's actually the most popular and over face they have, not forcing it.

That Tony/Cody thing in the limo was way too much, but yeah. The biggest difference between Cody and Jarrett/Triple H is that Cody is legitimately one of the most, if not the most, popular face they have on the roster. They also have a world title match to sell. If Cody loses, I think his presence gets scaled back a bit.

Here's something that's a bit more on the objective side. Why don't they get highlights of their shows on YouTube faster?
This is getting shared all over the Undertale community right now, but someone else is getting all the YouTube traffic because AEW's channel is way late to the party on getting clips up of their big moments.

WWE YouTube gets highlights of their TV shows posted usually an hour after the show has ended, so I can’t see why All Elite can’t do the same.

I get we're in the try and see early stages of the show, but they really need to focus on video packages for guys.
Just because someone like myself is familiar with most of the roster, doesn't mean that everyone else is. And if someone is a casual viewer from current WWE, in ring storytelling isn't going to click for them that easily.
The tag title finals could have been FAR bigger if they would have spent this week and next week building the two teams up with promos and video packages.

These joshi wrestlers need characters.
"She's a great japanese wrestler who hits a running knee for a finish" is both Riho and Hikaru Shida and it's all I can say about them now. Who are they? Why am I invested in them?
That said, minor complaint because this show rules.

There is no reason why there wasn't some type of video package of these guys sitting in a room or whatever just talking about what the tag titles mean to them and being the first ever champs Cody and Sammy got a video package for the first ever match on AEW TV, this was just as equal importance and could have used that.

That's a bit weird considering these are social media savy people tho that is more from a personal perspective as opposed to the company as a whole Still tho, i'm surprised that is not a point of emphasis

Segments being a little more focused wouldn't hurt either. Last week, Britt Baker's match didn't need to be as long as it was and it was confusing as to who they were trying to give the shine to. Britt gets the big homecoming, but Hayter comes off more impressive and was put into an angle, seemingly, with Brandi right after.
Nyla attacked Riho after their match 4 weeks ago. Nothing has come of that since even though it seemed like that was going to lead to something.
On tonight's show, they seem to look to getting some hype going for the tag title main event, but instead of that, they focus on 2 teams who are not competing for those titles. I get wanting to hype up a huge PPV match, I get making Santana and Ortiz look like heels, but you can do that another way after you get the hype going for your main event.

I think they could improve on following up on things that happen during the show. Like what happened after Cody and company got dragged away last week, or any kind of update on the R&R Express. There has to be a happy medium between WWE recapping the same thing 6 or 7 different times in one show and AEW just moving on with the show.
They also need to fine tune when they use the split screen gimmick during commercials. If there is a match going on the split screen is fine, but I dont need to see shots of the audience sitting around waiting for the next segment while the commercial is playing.
