Exactly, I don't get this "Shouldn't even be employed" or "He doesn't fit" crap. I don't get your "didn't actually read the thread" crap.

Don't think he was referencing your OP, more than likely he's referring to: He shouldn’t even be employed and He doesn't fit their aesthetic. Turn him heel and make him the annoying dickhead that hides behind a big man or two.

I guess they can't split them quite yet, necessarily, but given the Express are out of the tournament, I'd like to see Jungle Boy get some singles wins in the meantime. Meanwhile, could see Marko Stunt dealing with Avalon or something.

One single post questioning his employment and we get outrage over people calling for his unemployment. I'm getting a bit tired of the overzealous rush to defend/condemn around here.

I agree that Jungle Boy, and especially Luchasaurus have far more star potential than Marko and will need to split from them eventually, but I think he fits well in the group at the moment.
Jurassic Express are really lower card guys who happened to get extremely over...having Marko around to eat pins on their behalf while they establish themselves isn’t such a bad thing. It worked out really well tonight, I thought with Luchasaurus going out injured.

I can't get down with this sentiment, especially after tonight. Lucha Bros are well known by the AEW fanbase, but were not over as heels. Beating the shit out of Marko Stunt fixed that immediately, and I imagine the other heel tag teams are dying to work with him, especially when the dinosaur is back to throw him around some more. I just don't think he needs to be in Jurassic Express but he definitely has a spot in the company This. I'm not saying he shouldn't be around, I'm just saying he doesn't fit what they're going for with the Jurassic Express. He doesn't fit their aesthetic, much like Jake Hager doesn't fit the Inner Circle's aesthetic because he keeps wearing shirts that make him look like he should be hanging out with MJF.

Please just (and this phrase is so becoming overused, I feel) read the room, I guess. The other thread, can't say, wasn't there, but we weren't being as dire here as that.

I don't understand him at all. In wrestling you can either be super short or super skinny, but not both. Once you're both, your offense is a joke and your opponents look awful when they sell for you. And as mentioned with Jurassic Express, Jungle Boy is already the little guy. Difference being that Jungle Boy is more like Spike Dudley, while Stunt is like a child. He can work in the right setting (as a little turd heel manager for example), but I wouldn't buy this dude against Riho.

Marko should carry a sword bigger than him to the ring so people would take him seriously.

If he was doing a bunch of unassisted strikes, yeah, I figure people will no-sell that, and it makes sense. That being said, ranas, armdrags, etc, don't really seem like the kind of thing your size would influence that much on how much it'd hurt.

I guess for me it's the idea he'd even get a chance to use those moves. He looks like it should be punch, 1-2-3 no matter who he faces. I remember watching Bill Alfonso get the crap beaten out of him by Beulah McGillicutty in ECW, and it felt right because they were essentially the same size. Put Fonzie in there with Little Guido though, and I would expect a 10 second match.

I see him and I don't know. He gives off a different type of look for them compared to when it was just Lucha and Jungle. Sort of like, what's a good comparison. Kane and X-Pac compared to X-Pac and I don't know, Justin Credible or Billy Kidman or someone else his size or possibly smaller. It's just different and a different vibe because now when I see him in there I'm thinking "ok, do Jungle's gotta be the match ender now" if that makes any sense. I don't like it as much as the original but it's passable for me.
I'll say one thing, it really makes Jungle Boy look better from a presentation standpoint that's for sure. Jungle looked like that dude. He looks way better just by having him on the same team as him.

He looks way better just by having him on the same team as him. That's why I thought they added him in the first place. Jungle Boy is dope, but next to Luchasaurus he looks tiny. Having Stunt there both adds another character element to the act, but helps to put over Jungle Boy's size

Put Fonzie in there with Little Guido though, and I would expect a 10 second match. I genuinely don't see what's wrong with a little dude who can take a beating and be able to get a few licks in. Marko threw one chop in the match and it WAS no sold by Fenix. The rest of his offense included him being dodgy, flying off dudes and using momentum like the DDT or dive on Fenix, and Jungle Boy using him as a basic crash test dummy flinging him on the Lucha Bros like a weapon. The rest of the match he made Lucha Bros look like monsters, got them amazing heat, and he in the end took the pin for the team. He looked crafty, yet inexperienced, but also showed a ton of heart which got the crowd over. It's very obvious Stunt is a mismatched guy in there, they play it up, even JR said he couldn't afford to make a single mistake. The match did everything it needed to do, especially with Luchasaurus being out, since he wasn't even supposed to be there, he really impressed me, and by the sounds of things the crowd as well for his efforts. For me the notion that you have to be anything to work in wrestling is ridiculous. Wrestling is all about dudes like Stunt, for as much as people say he wouldn't belong, all eyes were on him in that match, and it was not for negative reasons as some people want to persist. He won a lot of folks over tonight and moreover, The Lucha Bros got booed for kicking his ass, which coming off of WWE fans always cheering the babyfaces getting pummeled, was just nice to hear.

Babysaurus is a great nickname for him. Would love it if they went full in and got him a dino mask.
