I don't know where to find it but there is a compilation of every time Owens or Zayn/Generico is in the ring and the other one arrive they just start punching between then no matter who is around. Like this This is like the "not underwater" version of Krimson vs Matt Morgan.

Royal Rumble 1999 heel Rock handcuffs Foley and batters him senseless with a steel chair.
Royal Rumble 2000 babyface Rock, who has finally started to respect and like Foley, interferes to attack Triple H preventing him from battering a handcuffed Foley with a steel chair.

And now I am wondering...when Big Bossman appeared in SMW, did they acknowledge him being Jim Cornette's ex-bodyguard? There's a Cornette interview where he doesn't say it outright, but says that he knew the Boss Man before he was all about law & order and thinks he can get him on that side again.

The Ambrose Rollins storyline from a couple of years ago when Ambrose had a hard time trusting Seth even though Seth had been a face almost a year at that point was surprising for WWE really.

Just remembered another one from ROH:
Alex Shelley originally led Generation Next, but less than a year into their run Austin Aries threw him out of the group so he could take over, leading to a Shelley babyface run, but one where the locker room still didn't trust him after all the things he had done leading the young heel faction. Shelley eventually decided he was sick of asking for forgiveness, so he went so far as to turn heel and join The Embassy so he'd have backup taking on GeNext, turning them face in the process.
Shelley's days in ROH were kind of numbered at that point, though, since he had a deal going with TNA at the same time, and by the next year he was full time with TNA in the run that would give us Paparazzi Productions and the Motor City Machine Guns. That reminds me of the Impact episode where they put Shelley with Aries and Strong and teased bringing GeNext to TNA, but then there was that whole bit where Aries and Strong chose to work ROH and miss a TNA taping thanks to a snowstorm, which put the ki-bosh on all that, but Shelley stuck around.
Fast forward a number of years and the Machine Guns return to ROH, Aries is back in ROH, too, and after years and years Aries and Shelley finally cross paths while both are babyfaces. They go out of their way to play up that Shelley still doesn't trust Aries, only to eventually build to a post-match moment where they finally shake hands and bury the hatchet, more than a decade after their drama began.

Ted DiBiase's claims that he would bring back The Undertaker in 1994 were centered around him being the one to bring Undertaker to the WWF in the first place in 1990. It actually made sense that DiBiase would know where to find Taker after he "died" at the Rumble.
Mr Perfect acting incredulous at Barry Horowitz wrestling on a PPV at Survivor Series 1995, since the last time Perfect had been in the company, Horowitz was simply a jobber.
When Stevie Richards debuted in the WWF in 1999, Mick Foley was pretty friendly towards him, even giving him his blessing to dress as Dude Love. They still had a connection from being in Raven's Nest in ECW.

There were little bits of this during the Royal Rumble '92. Flair had spots with a handful of guys he wrestled with in other companies (Kerry, Sarge, Hammer...)

In Toryumon Japan's days, Second Doi (Naruki Doi) was an undercarder with a baseball gimmick who rarely won. Shortly after it became Dragon Gate, Doi started going by his real name Naruki Doi and became one of the promotion's top stars. He ends up as Dream Gate champion. Takuya Suguwara, who left the promotion shortly before Doi dropped the baseball gimmick, came back years later during Doi's Dream Gate run and was in complete disbelief that the geek in baseball pants was a main event badass now.

Michelle McCool Vs. Melina at Night Of Champions 2009 and 2010
In 2009, When Melina does her apron split, during her entrance, McCool does a baseball slide drop kick and knocks her off the apron to the floor.
In 2010, Michelle McCool tries it again, only this time, Melina dodges it.

Bob Orton joining the Dangerous Alliance in the AWA when he jumped in 1987...as it also included Adrian Adonis, whom he switched his bodyguard services to in the WWF.
When you think of it, Curt Hennig teaming then turning on Ric Flair in WCW was a good bit of continuity. As they were last seen as WWF rivals. But why would Curt want to lure him into a trap as he won that feud??

I thought of this, oddly enough, when going over my "bad manager/wrestler combos" list....
Not sure it was intentional, but Missy Hyatt taking over as manager for Sandman in ECW = her finally getting one over on Woman for kicking her out of the Steiners camp in WCW.

This might have already been said but a nice small bit of continuity happened with Elimination Chamber matches.
Kofi gets jumped by Edge as he’s about to enter the Elimination Chamber and Edge takes his spot. A year later, Kofi is on his way to the chamber and he keeps turning round and checking no one is going to jump him. It’s a tiny bit of continuity but it’s so effective.

There was a brawl or something going on Smackdown, where Kane was in the ring. The gong hits, and lights go out. When they come back on, Taker is behind Kane.....who after a beat had this "aw f***, I should *know* he's behind me" expression on his face.

The People's Eyebrow.
Seriously. When he became a face, it was more of a trademark/pose. But when he was a heel, whenever something nefarious was about to happen, The Rock would give the signal by raising the eyebrow. When the rest of the Nation turned on Ron Simmons, he lifted his eyebrow to give the guys the signal to beat him down. When Owen Hart turned on Ken Shamrock to join the Nation, he raised the eyebrow to signal Owen to beat down Ken. When Mark Henry turned on Ken Shamrock to join the Nation, he raised the eyebrow to signal Mark to beat down Ken. Most famously, he raised the eyebrow before Vince McMahon double crossed Mankind and rang the bell at Survivor Series 1998.

Randy Savage, despite reconciling with Elizabeth, is still mostly heelish on commentary when he joins Superstars in 1991. And especially when it comes to Ultimate Warrior, of course. But the glaring exception is during Ted DiBiase matches...because of the presence of Sensational Sherri. Savage seemed to complete his face turn during that segment of the funeral parlor when Ultimate Warrior got locked in the casket At first Macho is cheering on Undertaker and brought up their career versus career match but then showed shock at attempted MURDER It was still a work in process. As Savage was back to cheering heels by next week, including rooting for Sarge against Warrior on SNME. Think his face return was cemented only when he proposed to Elizabeth. His bachelor party was attended by faces, and later him and Piper teamed up to save Hogan from Undertaker doing what he did to Warrior.

In 2012, Austin Aries was ascending to the top of the card in TNA. He captured the X-Division championship in mid-2011 and had become the longest reigning champion in the title's history, and was gaining wins over several heavyweight competitors like Bully Ray and Samoa Joe. With the X-Division showcase PPV Destination X upcoming, it made sense for Aries to be the top contender to Bobby Roode's World championship. But authority figure Hulk Hogan presented Aries with one last test. He gave Aries two distinct options. Aries could choose Option A, and vacate the X-Division title in exchange for the World title shot at Destination X's main event. Or Aries choose Option B and remain the X-Division champion and remain a champion. Aries would counter offer Hogan with Option C, taking up Hogan's challenge, but only if the X-Division champion would be given this gamble every single year when Destination X comes around. What a nice guy that Austin Aries is, opening up the rest of his fellow undersized peers the chance at breaking the glass ceiling just as Aries ended up doing, winning the world championship as a triumphant hero.
Oh please, even as a babyface at the time, nobody could possibly believe that Austin Aries would be that magnanimous. Aries would lose the title months later, and he even turned heel in the process. After losing the title, he fell off from the singles scene, as he ended up in a tag team with Booby Roode, very aptly named the Dirty Heels. Eventually, the team ran its course just in time for the Summer of 2013, which meant that Destination X was upcoming, and while Aries was in the Bound for Glory series that year, it's not the easiest way to get back into the World title hunt. Meanwhile, the X-Division title was in that weird phase where it was getting defended in three way matches, and the final title defense before Option C featured Chris Sabin defending his X-Division title against Kenny King and Suicide. Sabin was the pretty obvious choice here, as he and current World champion Bully Ray had some history back when they were feuding in the tag team division. But shockingly, Suicide ended up winning the X-Division title in the three way match. But then, Hulk Hogan brings out TJ Perkins and reveals that he is the true identity of Suicide, and that whoever just won the X-Division title was a fake, albeit a talented phony. Hogan would demand that the fake Suicide reveal himself by the end of the show, or forfeit the X-Divsion title and Option C along with it. When confronted by Bully at the end of the show, fake Suicide vowed to beat Bully Ray and take the title, as he was a man who had done so in the past. He revealed himself to be Austin Aries.
Austin Aries created Option C in 2012, not just so he could have a title shot that year, but also so he could backdoor himself in the title scene the next year. Hogan would book Aries vs. Sabin vs. Suicide the next week in response to the controversy, and Sabin would take back the X-Division title and Option C World title shot (and the less said about that the better), but Aries at least created an opening to the World title scene out of nowhere.
